Excellent spreader
I have several food plots on my farm, that I seed and fertilize every year (3 ac total). I've used a an old manual spreader on the back of my UTV for the past 15 years. It was a two man operation to to try and set the feed gate correctly and ended up wasting lots of seed and fertilizer. This new Moultrie spreader with the remote controlled feed gate is perfect. Now I can spread the correct amounts without wasting material, especially at the end of each strip while turning and stopping. I used it this year without a problem. I love the way you can program the controller to adjust the feed gate to the correct opening. It works on small fine seeds as well as large seeds. It's a wonderful device. Well engineered. My only complaint is the assembly instructions were misleading on some parts. I highly recommend this spreader!

Works perfect for what I needed.
It was quickly and easily assembled. I mounted on my UTV and it did exactly what I needed. Good price and durable. I see using it for many years.

It simply is not worth the money
The electric feed gate failed within the first 2 hours and is easily clogged by dust. It will stick closed or wide open after only one hopper load. Grass seed cannot be spread because it is too light to be gravity fed. The hopper needs an auger to feed light weight grass seed. The buttons on the remote also failed after only a few hours. So now I have to unplug it. I've only used this for a few days, and I intend to return it.

Works great but
It spreads grass seed great. Regardless of claims it’s about 20-25ft. I am not sure it will spread lime pellets because it does not have an agitator.

Had a problem will the wiring harness but they replace it no charge! Super customer service. Great product.

Spreader
Instruction suck as they send all the parts for manual operating gate even if you ordered the electric gate. But the spreader works fine. The electronic on off gate is worth the money. If the electronics last more than 2 yrs I will come back and give it 5 stars.

Poor product
First time I go to use the spreader after it has been installed and tested the ATV it is attached to dormant for one month and the controller would not operate. The spreader wheel turned in the gate would not open and no power lights. Unit is junk
