Are you using these shoes for pole dancing? If so then you want them snug on your foot so they don't fly off when you do moves...that being said the plastic will stretch a little with the heat of your foot but if you need more stretch I recommend a blow dryer to get the desired fit for your comfort!

Same here-normally a size 8.5, kind of narrow feet. I got a size 8 and they fit well. I think a 9 would be a little too big unless you have medium/wider feet.
