Single, on a budget, and still want to eat actual tasty food? This is perfect for being the main protein portion of a meal? It's one serving, doesn't require refrigeration, and has a good shelf life. For the food buck, it's a good bang. -- It works well for me. 10/10.

Convenient, delicious, has dark meat so it's tasty
I bought my 1st case almost 2 years ago. I can get canned chicken in stores but no one here carries it w/ dark meat which has more flavor & is richer. I've since bought 2 more cases, cos I love it. I add it to chicken salad sandwiches, crackers, soups, snacks, etc. It's perfect for when I'm not feeling well & don't have energy to cook cos I can make simple chicken noodles soup with waiting hours for it to cook. The only way they can make this more ideal if they offered an all dark meat version, wow!!

Too much added water BUT no MSG!
Smells good and doesn't contain added monosodium glutamate (MSG) but you won't get as much chicken as expected unless you noticed the "in water" fine print on the label. The can implies 5 ounces of chicken but the 2 cans I weighed contained 3.1 ounces of meat after very gently draining the water; I only poured water off the top without squeezing water out & without removing yellow fatty stuff. Added water is legal in the U.S. but annoying/expensive, especially if you're trying to prepare a recipe. However, Hormel has more chicken than Costco's store brand! There was even a class action suit against Costco because their canned chicken was said to contain over 40% water! The case was dismissed, supposedly because the label said there was water. Read your labels!

Great to have on hand!
I enjoy having this on hand to add to my little Yorkie’s meals. She is a senior now and very picky and loves this chicken added on! Considering grocery prices right now I find this to be pretty reasonable compared to other brands.
