The Shaman Within: A Physicist's Guide to the Deeper Dimensions of Your Life, the Universe, and Everything

Claude Poncelet offers enormous insight into this world we live in. His simple understanding of how divinity is alive in every atom give us all the ability to contact Source Energy both within ourselves and within every living thing in nature. He goes even further by suggesting that even inanimate objects such as man-made objects - anything manufactured - consists of atoms and can thereby thought of as 'alive'. I have heard of people interacting with their cars in interesting ways, and Claude's explanation helps me make sense of this. He writes well, he offers methods of shape-shifting, and of interacting with one's inner world. The book is full of exercises and visualisations which I have found extremely helpful. It's a wonderful book.

Poncelet is not only a physicist but a person who was in government, politics, and energy resources and development. The main value of his work is that he shows how to apply shamanic principles and rituals to affairs in the White House, the corporate boardroom, and all areas of business. He is a true shaman: a person able to walk between the worlds and serve both.

This book is a great reminder of past studies I have personally had with Claude over a duration of 6 or more years. This book is also a very good book for fellow shamanic practitioners who are looking for new ways to receive direction from spirit world, as well as possible internal changes. Some of these techniques have become parts of my daily practice through previous teachings from Claude. I of course highly recommend a read.

I didn't really find this book to be all that interesting or anything new. It's a very basic mix of psychology and spirituality. Not much of it stuck with me. If you've never been exposed to shamanism, how the body responds to spiritual approaches etc., then this could be interesting. If you've read books in this genre before, this one could be skipped.

If you want to learn and understand more about Shamanism this is the book for you.

I really appreciate Mr Poncelet sharing his views and perceptions as a result of his vast experience on his Shamanic journey.It has helped me expand greatly and connect with other species of living beings. I have long time been suggesting that we put Nature back into human nature.

This is an excellent book for both beginners and more experienced practitioners of shamanic work. There are a number of journey ideas that aren't in any other books such as shapeshifting, cosmic journeys, a section of ethics and the shamanic ego. It is a valuable resource to work with.

Claude opens the mysterious door and adds to the literature of shamanism by describing the experience of modern folks exploring the classic shaman experience of shapeshifting. Also, Claude provides an invaluable discussion of how to work with shamanism in the business/corporate world. Excellent book.

The author is very well acquainted with his subject matter in an academic manner which is user friendly, and pleasantly devoid of hocus pockus. This man knows what he is talking about, and lays out clear paths of action for the wannabe Sharman. I was impressed by my experience!

I love this book, as a trainee practitioner it was full of gems for me, highly recommend to anyone interested in or practising shamanism 👍
