Uncle John's Bathroom Reader: History's Lists

Great Used Books, Timely Shipped, Hours of Reading Fun!

My son introduced me to these books a few years ago, and I have always found them entertaining besides being full of trivia, which always seems to stick in my brain somewhere. :) This one is especially interesting to me because it makes real-life historical events and activities short and sweet besides having a lot of behind-the-scenes interactions and deals that went down to make it something that would someday end up in our history books, novels, non-fiction works...everywhere! I like the lists idea because I can read one or two when I just have a few minutes or spend hours reading many pages of different historical events, a lot of which I have never heard of or read about. So far, I haven't found a single boring item in this book. A definite fun read that will leave you learning something new that day!

I have a couple dozen of Uncle Johns books,and this one is again full of excellent facts and tid-bits.

I have bought several of these books over the years. My whole family enjoy reading them.

Awesome quick history knowledge

I've been a huge fan of the Uncle John's Bathroom Readers for almost 10 years, and just like the originals this is packed with trivia, history (mostly history), and all sorts of useless knowledge I've come to expect from my bathroom reading. So far it seems like there's more really short articles, and fewer very long ones, that's alright by me.

This is another informative Uncle John's Book. It contains lists of events, places people, oddioties and surprises. But it isn't just a book of lists, there are stories of each list and stories of each itewm on each list. I enjoy reading about history, I enjoy learning trivia, I enjoy having short reading sections available for when the opportunity arises. This book meets all these criteria. I enjoyed the book.

... with Uncle John, his books, no matter the subject, are incredible. Good to read, dip into, inform, educate, amuse, entertain - everything you'd want from a book.I'd defy anyone to read almost any page and not say "I didn't know that!". This book excels even Uncle John's very high standards!
