I have used the regular Dr Tungs floss and liked it - apart from the cardamom flavour. So I wanted to try this one with the plastic free packaging as I try to avoid single use plastics where possible.The lemon grass is better for me although the charcoal and grey that comes off it is weird.The worst thing is that it doesn’t stay together as well as the original. It’s supposed to expanse to allow it to get between your teeth better and be softer on your gums (it does) but it gets to the point of fraying quickly so sometimes the individual fibres can get stuck in your teeth if the gaps are tight.But it does work and is much easier on my gums and fingers than silk floss

I've been using these for a few years now and am a total Fan of this tooth floss. Its (natural) Lemongrass flavor is very nice, it works really well, and it is Vegan. Every time..., every time I go to the Dentists, since starting to use these, I've been complimented by the Dentists (and my Ortho-Periodontist, too) on my "excellent" dental hygiene. I take that to be a good sign, that this floss is helping, and am glad I've found it.A comment to previous reviews I saw: It is by design that this tooth floss expands as it gets wet. It enables the floss to get out even smaller particles, from between one's teeth. I also had read someone complaining it was "too thick" to get through between teeth. Again, this is by design. Most other tooth flosses I've tried were either the wrong shape, smelled bad, or cut into my gums. These were all made of nylon, or other synthetic material, and have artificial flavors. This (Dr. Tung's Tooth floss), is made from natural fibers, and thusly don't hurt, nor cut through my gums. I'll keep using it as long as it is available (and I'll be sorry when it isn't.Highly recommended.

I love the floss. Very pleasant flavor, same great cleaning of regular DrTung's floss. But the paper box is flimsy and hard to reach the floss. Hate it, but the floss is worth it.

Most favorite floss !! Cleans better than most as it has a texture that seems to “grab” particles

This is truly the best floss I have ever used. Really cleaned the teeth. So good that I threw out all the other floss products I had because they don’t remove plaque. The others would remove food but not actually clean the teeth. I will only buy and use this floss from now on!

I never knew how many bad ingredients were put into dental floss. Thanks to a friend I found this wonderful floss. I will say it is thick, but I did get used to using it. I feel much better knowing I am using a clean ingredient floss! This is a great alternative to your traditional floss!

I've been on a mission to be plastic free and it ain't easy! This floss comes in cardboard! The floss works great! IT doesn't break and fits between your teeth.. What else can I say besides I love this stuff!! Thank you for your commitment to the environment!

I am trying to use less plastic. I really like DrTungs Smart Floss and this comes in a cardboard container. It seemed like an easy traded off. Turns out I really don’t like this product. The activated charcoal leaves black between my teeth and on my fingers. Without the wax coating, the expanding floss that I previously loved seriously shreds between the tight spacing of my teeth. On a positive note, the lemongrass flavor is VERY pleasant. Unfortunately, it’s not enough for me to continue to use this product.

This floss isn’t great.... it comes to pieces As you floss, and leaves bits of black residue And cotton between your teeth. Such a shame as I’m really liking the sustainability of products like these. Will have to keep searching though.
