YoungRC New Digital Servo Tester/ESC Consistency Tester for FPV RC Helicopter Airplane Car Servo Tester Tool

The product is just what it says it is and works as described. What I missed is (1) there is no internal battery and (2) it's synchronous so all the servers move identically.For (1) I wired a 1S battery and it works well.For (2), what is the point. I can just use one port to test each servo. I was expecting a unit that could control each individually with a selector, so you could simulate combining multiple servers doing different things.My fault for not reading.

I purchased this servo tester because I needed one with a pulse width readout for testing various values for RC hardware. This one is nice! Its output is from 800 ms to 2200 ms. I measured the pulse width accuracy and it is spot on with minimum jitter (see pics): set 900 measured 899.9, set 1500 measured 1499, set 2001 measured 2002. So it appears to be accurate across the range to about ~1 us which is great. It also gives three period choices ("Pulse Width" button) of 20ms, 8ms, and 4ms which can be used for a variety of PWM applications. Like my old one, the "Select" button sets it to manual, center, or auto sweep. It has 4 outputs and comes in a nice, light-weight plastic case.

Build quality is higher then expected at this price.Looking at the output on an oscilloscope the pulses are clean and the measurements are excellent. 1000 measured as 999ms. 1500 measured as 1499ms and 2000 measured as 1999 ms. This is close enough it could be an error in my scope and is better then 1%.The slow sweep is much cleaner that my old tester.This gets a high recommendation and is good enough I ordered a second one.

The first one had an issue with its 5v regulator. It became boiling hot in seconds, started melting the plastic casing, and had reversed voltages... it was whack. But on notifying YoungRC they sent another one immediately and it works great. They even sent a hand written note with the second one... I mean, who does that??

This thing is a piece of trash. Let me preface this with the fact that I'm an information technologies senior tech, and i also do some electrical engineering on the side. I was using this for maybe 2-3 minutes and the back of it was getting REALLY hot and i could smell something burning. I had it powered up with a known good esc which i checked and was providing 5.8 volts to the servo tester. (A standard 4-AA servo battery pack is 6v). Anyways, i opened it up and found that whoever designed this #1 under spec'd the 5 volt regulator inside of it. The voltage regulator is designed for a max of 0.100A (100mA) output. And the device draws near 0.220A (220mA) through the regulator when all 4 digits on the display are lit up. Even more if you press a button. Then, after looking at it, the friggin circuit board is wrong and has the pins all switched around on the regulator! Luckily i caught this before it caught anything on fire or fried the microprocessor and made my own 5v regulator to replace the under spec'd one.Save yourself the trouble i went through and just buy a completely different style/brand. This thing is junk to the average consumer..

This unit worked as expected with the only surprise being it draws a bit more current than I was expecting to power it and gets warm too. Most likely a voltage regulator thing but the modes and settings all worked as expected and worked well.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a great product for testing servos it can be used in many different ways its main intent is to test servos for function and consistency it has three different modes to allow a full range of testing on up to four servos at once it does manual full range testing centerpoint testing and automatic full range sweep testing, it can be adjusted for digital servos
