These lights are pretty, so it's a shame they are badly made. The lanterns and lantern tops have to be assembled then you have to thread the actual light bulbs in to the top of the lantern, that is fiddly and time consuming but to be fair the reviews and the description make that clear. HOWEVER, about 1/3 of my lantern tops were broken on delivery which meant when you go to thread the light bulb in - it can't hold it, rendering it useless and I had bought more than one set for a large gazebo in our garden, so I was really disappointed. I tried through Amazon and the supplier to get the broken ones replaced - it was a nightmare each of them saying it had to be done through the other - the supplier / their customer services were very rude to me. In the end I got so fed up of trying to just replace the faulty ones I gave up- we ended up using duct tape, but even that didn't work. I wouldn't mind all this iuf they were cheap but they are expensive considering the quality is absolute rubbish.

These lanterns look great on my tree. It's up already. One pack will be enough for 6 ft tree. Self assembly easy and fun. If you like retro lights I would highly recommend these lanterns. Of course you can use these for other thing too.

The Christmas lights were a lot smaller than we were expecting.

Bought these to put on shrubs along driveway, they looked very effective and survived the wet and windy weather. They are very easy to assemble, disappointingly two of the bulb holder caps were too big to hold the bulbs, but I managed without them. To be honest I didn't complain to the retailer so to be fair I don't know how they would have responded. These were bought to replace a set I had owned for over 20years, I hope hey last as long, they looked lovely and despite the slight fault I would buy again, they were delivered safely and were well packaged and secure.

40 lights / lanterns. Assembly looks easy , each lantern is in 3 parts outer, liner and top. Lights click into top easily but tops don't click easily onto lantern. It has taken me 1 hour and 12 minutes to put 40 caps on the lanterns. I would say this is a design flaw and a screw cap would be far easier and more robust. Quality is a bit cheap but they look good. They have auto functions and do different things from static to flashing and chaser lights. It's taken almost 2 hours to put them together. I have yet to see how they stand up against east coast winds . After seeing they are quite thin plastic and the tops are not that secure despite the difficulty in assembly, I don't really rate their chances against our weather. I an sure we may lose a lantern or two.

Used for Christmas decor, they are totally rubbish, you can’t touch them and the lanterns fall off constantly, I’m sick of putting them on every day, I’ve taken them off and put them back in the box, never and buy again…. Never purchase these ever, Amazon would never re emburse you, or admit they are crap, I had mugs sent one was smashed i did say but nothing is ever done, they just don’t care about the consumer, I could go on with items I’ve received unhappily.. but no one listens

Really happy with this purchase.These lights are great and easy to assemble, make sure you turn the lights on before fitting the shades to match the colour of the shade to the correct coloured bulb.Due to my slightly poor eyesight, I accidently put two shades into the black lantern cage by mistake, I then thought some were missing. They were only found when I disassembled the entire lot ready to return, check carefully to avoid my mistake and to avoid looking a like a complete plonker.Got it right the second time and they look great.

Le lanternine in se sono molto carine, io le ho posizionate sotto al gazebo seguendone il perimetro dello stesso, però è stato un pò faticoso incastrare il coperchio e cosa più importante le luci emettono troppa poca luce e quando si inseriscono nelle lanternine colorate è ancora peggio. Pertanto credo che sostituirò la catena a led con luci più forti
