Best WDH currently available in the market! So glad I went with my R6!
I spoiled myself by starting with the best hitch in the market today. The Recurve R6 600 is what I decided to install on my 2021 Toyota Tundra hauling a Grand Design 15FLE (416# tongue weight, 4,300# trailer Weight). Our trailer was nowhere close to full. I did my research on the Equa-Liz-Er, Blue Ox, Curt, Hinsley (?) but liked the features the Recurve R6 has even over the Recurve R3 or the Trekker both also from the samemanufacturer. I chose the R6 model that would match the tongue weight and trailer weight of our travel trailer as going bigger was said to cause more bounce on the trailer going down the road.Follow the included instructions which was pretty close to the instructional video from Camco on YouTube. The video shows you a general method of installing the R3 or R6 WDH but gives nothing specific about how to install a particular model. There are videos out there that give you the wrong procedure in setting up your hitch so I would recommend taking the information through YouTube with a grain of salt. You can't go wrong if you follow the instructions. Just be aware that although the printed instructions clearly state "260 Ft. Lbs." Of torque to fasten the 1 1/8" nuts and bolts on the trunion side it was too much that it walked the crush washer put. We got another crush washer and adjusted the torque down to 225 Ft. Lbs. So far I have towed 200 miles and the nuts and bolts have not loosened up.I set the adjusted to the median range of 5 1/2 turns from bottom as recommended but found that my rear bumper was still sagging. I re-adjusted after our 30-mile shakedown and found that 8turns on the adjuster works best for our current trailers and Tundra's loaded weight.I love the feature of the sway control breaking away at angles past 10degrees to allow for maneuverability in the gas station, parking lots, the campground or anywhere yu may have to take tight turns. Backing up is a breeze...at least for me it was. No need to undo the bars, just use the supplied 8mm hex wrench to turn the sway tension off.I park on an inclined driveway at home and to position the trailer I would have to unhook at an angle. This is where I find it necessary to undo the bars on level ground and while the truck/trailer are straight and then I can back up, jack knife the trailer into position and then unhitch.Note that if your tow vehicle has the Anti-sway feature it must be turned OFF on the vehicle to prevent this feature and the WDH to counteract each other.Great product. I'm so glad I went with the Eaz-Lift Recurve R6 600 for my towing needs. Only time - and miles - will tell how long this great product will hold up.

Works wonders
If used and installes correctly, the locking pins will hold yhe bars into the receiver. As a new travel trailer owner we purchased our 27' trailer in Idaho falls and drove it back to Seattle washington. The dealer installed hitch as part of purchase. We drove through high wind warnings 30-50 gust sometimes and torrential downs poor's. I was safely able to drive between 50-70 MH depending on the conditions. Thr trailer handled FLAWLESSLY on I-84, we hand wimd the hole way home. Also once in Washington i-90 over Snoqualmie pas is not the smoothest road no issues. We have since used in once camping. A little noise on sharp turns, gas stations and such. I could pull into the camp ground back into place and disconnect basically as simple as that! Total miles so far with it approx 1100 miles! Yes I highly recommend. Tow vehicle is a 2017 1/2 ton silverado with 6.2l..

Look for a different hitch, stay away
Bolts were torqued to spec, 260ft lbs, still would not stay, horrible design.

Good hitch, but not worth $600
This hitch is good, but is very finicky with the set up. You need to have the tow vehicle perfectly straight with the trailer before tightening the brackets, otherwise it will "center" off to one side, potentially damaging the brackets or the springs. So make sure to set up perfectly before towing.Overall I don't think it's worth the higher price than other hitches out there.

Easy Hitch to Use
This weighs about 80 lbs. Item was packaged great by manufacturer. Shipping made a few tears in box but care was taken to add extra cardboard and lots of tape to protect the parts. Instructions and parts were easy to install and understand but anyone can take it to a dealer for install. Unit was fully lubricated and ready to install.

Great Product
Used this for the first time this past weekend and made towing the camper a lot smoother ride. Easy to install, however it is quite heavy and I did have to make an adjustment after we pulled out onto level ground.

A Solid Performing Hitch with Better Ground Clearance
The R6 Hitch has held up well for 4 years and we regularly maintain it and take care of it. That's where Camco's excellent support is noticed.Camco customer is stellar--Camco representatives are helpful and knowlegeable.I rate this hitch as a 5-star product. I believe we purchased it from another site other than Amazon, so that may be why my review doesn't show a "verified purchase."Please read the one-star review (with two photos) that claims the R6 hitch caused their accident. I replied to that review with some salient points that apply to everyone who tows.
