Awesome tool
This thing worked out great. I was very impressed on how it cleaned the master cylinder I was working on. The downside is that I will probably never use it again.

did what i needed it to do
certainly not a professional quality tool by any stretch. It did, however, do exactly what I purchased it to do. I did some work on a chainsaw cylinder and this small unit did fine. Likely be a long time before I use it again, but I'll have it and it'll be ready to go. Good purchase for the price.

Well, almost!
I don't like giving less than a 5 star review, because that means something didn't go right that wasn't my doing. This cylinder hone is clearly advertised as being able to hone a 3/4" cylinder. This is exactly what I needed as I had a cylinder that measured .7759. So, in fact, it was just a fraction over 3/4". However, this hone will not accommodate this small of a cylinder, or at least the one they sent me didn't. It will just barely, and I mean, barely, fit into a 3/4" cylinder, if you hold your mouth just right, stand on your left leg, and recite the Pledge of Allegiance while getting the hone into the cylinder all lined and not in a bind. And even with lots of lubrication, the very first time I tried to spin the hone, it was a disaster that left the stones in several pieces, and the fingers themselves twisted. In fact I should have known it wouldn't work as this hone was almost identical to one I already had and I knew from experience it wouldn't work. However, the one they sent was more flexible so I thought I would give it the benefit of doubt, but I clearly shouldn't have. But I took the risk, I needed the job done because I had already waited a few days to get it (couldn't find one local either). So, I'm not sure how good this hone would be on a larger cylinder, but it sure won't work with a 3/4" one.

To small I was expecting something I could use.
It must be for a motor on a very small car. It was useless for me because. It is not big enough to touch the sides on my 4 cyl engine
