Solid built, and a pain to install
Use liquid soap to help install, which is no easy task. I used a Dremel and modified it to make it fit on the knob of the bat, more of a sting guard than a choke. Took some time but seems to be an improvement on a great bat that has an ultra thin handle and undersized knob. This would work okay as a choke, though it may take some getting used to the new feel. As modified, it is very comfortable.

Poor Quality
We have this same bat choke on another bat that we currently own. We purchased that choke at a retail store locally and have had no issues with it. I purchased one from here & is was so stiff & when attempting to place on the bat handle, it cracked in two almost as if it were dry rotted. So I sent it in for a replacement (great transaction, free of charge) and the replacement choke did the exact same thing. I am unsure if this was just bad luck or if these specific chokes were old and that is why they broke easily? After the second one breaking, we went with a different option.

Need help installing? Please read!
This was VERY difficult to put on the bat... we put it in a pot of boiling water to soften the rubber, and it finally went on... just try that first, soap and oils did not work! The rubber was just too thick. Boiling helped just enough.

Don't get this brand, get EASTON's
This version of a choke is the worst! I didn't consider looking at my old bat to see which brand I got previously...and sure enough...this one has ZERO flexibility to get it over the knob of the bat. I used everything from shampoo, oils, and whatnot. Epic fail. I even went out of my way to get a flat chisel to pry it over the knob...FAIL. I went to my old bat and noticed it's an EASTON! Went to my local Sports Authority and wham! They have it! No shampoo, no oils....not even a tool...........and I got it over in 5 seconds.

Wouldn't install
This bat choke could not be installed. I've bought others and installed them on other bats, but this one won't budge. I tried installing dry, then using liquid soap, and then with cooking oil after reading several reviews on other sites. Unfortunately, it still wouldn't slip on the end of my daughter's 31 inch Easton bat.

Just about impossible to get on and off a bat
I've put on many of these bat chokes over the years. This one is hard as a rock and too small for many of the bats out there. Bad product.
