Maurice's BBQ Grill Trio Variety Set (Southern Gold® BBQ Sauce, Hickory Red Sauce & Rib Rub BBQ Seasoning)

I fell in love with Maurice’s BBQ in the short time I lived in Columbia, SC. The originator was somewhat crazy and it almost cost his business to fail but, typically for SC, good BBQ prevailed. Maurice having passed (Maurice Bessinger) the restaurants are doing well and I find the sauce, now sauces on Amazon! Of course the cost is about doubled but, I don’t have to drive to SC to get it. Mustard based sauce is premier for E. SC mustard sauce. Excellent for cooking pork and the new (W NC) rec hickory smoke sauce is a perfect counterpoint. Even when I lived in COLA I used to thank their mustard cooked pulled pork (hams) and douse it in a good NC red sauce. Now they have their own. Blasphemy or not, still the best balance of sweet, sour and warm i have found with pork BBQ. Enjoy!

Lived in Charlotte 20 years ago. While working in South Carolina, would always get Maurice's .........the sauces are as best as I remember.

Grew up less than 5 miles from Maurice ,Columbia
