Dormer A087201 HSS High Speed Steel Jobber Drill Bit Set with 118 Degree Tin Tipped Split Point, Set of 19

After reading some of the reviews saying they only drilled once then no good, I was a little dubious, but I had no problems. I’d like to know what they were drilling into, to blunt a drill bit so quickly. I drilled through 10 mm brackets numerous times and the bit was still sharp.

Drilled through .50" hardened steel, used cutting lube, drilled in 4 stages, cooled between stages. Slow down and take your time!

Good quality item, how ever, one of the drill bits has broken after two months, constant use though.Would I buy again, YES

Unlike some other Dormer drill sets, this one came in a plastic case, which might seem inferior to metal, but actually is better made. I have a similar set from 1mm to 10mm x 0.5mm, and the metal case for that is very poor. The drills themselves, of course, are excellent quality in both sets.

Great quality drills, I have used these drills for many years at work.The only negative is that the plastic holder is not the same quality. It’s starts coming apart over time.It’s good that it’s compact, essential for me.The drill quality is the main attribute, the drills cope really well with stainless steel.It is possible to replace individual drills if necessary to maintain full set.
