Very well made, solid, adjustable mount. Couldn't ask for a stronger mount!

I'm using these for a microphone and have no doubts about the sturdiness. I have it mounted to a wooden box.

We used these to mount Logitech USB cameras to the T-bar ceiling in classrooms and they were perfect.

Will be talking to Customer service about this but product description/picture is misleading received only one mount not the two that are displayed.

My initial problem is that this item is pictured in Amazon as two telescoping mounts, which I expected to receive. Instead, I received a package with only one mount. Thinking that it was packed wrong, I sent it back, only to receive another one (only 1).When the name 883-T Dual Option Telescoping Mount is used in connection with a picture that shows two telescoping mounts, I believe that one has every right to expect two mounts. The expectation of two mounts would also seem to fit the price point, given that one can purchase a similar single mount from Panavice through Amazon for only $13.99 (Panavise 845-246W Deluxe Micro Mount) or for $24.99 a similar single 6" (PanaVise 827-06 Deluxe Mount - 6-Inch).Either Panavise or Amazon is guilty of advertising deception, as the word "Dual" that might be used to refer to different extended lengths that are adjustable seems to give an impression to a potential purchaser that there are two mounts in the order.Either that is true, or someone is very remiss and incompetent with a picture that displays what one is supposed to get. Combined with inadequate clarity that I've noticed with other purchases recently I've made in Amazon, I have little trust in representation versus reality. You can do better than this.

Not that I needed them, but it comes with no instructions and, the reason for a low ranking, is it does not come with mounting screws. While most of us have screws hanging around we can use, we often don't have black-coated screws. This means the mount looks messy. I'm just surprised, given the price and my experience with other mounts, that they would have neither instructions or screws. Perhaps it was incorrectly packaged.
