We were planning a funeral reception that would include a praying of the rosary, and I was searching to find a cost-effective way to provide rosaries to folks who didn't bring their own. I took a chance and bought five dozen of these on short notice. I was very happy with how it worked out.As you'd expect for the price, these are not fancy. They are basic cord with simple wooden beads. The beads are not all uniformly shaped, and the cord is a little uneven. But they don't feel embarrassingly cheap like bad plastic mardi gras beads, either. I was perfectly comfortable setting them out for the guests, and the different colors even looked nice laid out on the table.Almost everyone who grabbed one of these took it home. And I've even heard from some folks letting me know that they've been using theirs to pray at home.So if you are looking for reasonably priced, bulk rosaries: these get a thumbs up from me.

They are perfect for hand outs. They are a little bit stiff and small but they are sturdy and good for doing the lords work.

I sadly had to return these rosaries. They have their good and bad points, and it really depends on who you are ordering them for. I was ordering them for the six-year-olds in my Sunday School class, and they were not the right option for them.Good: Arrived fast, made of rope and wood (so they won't break), lovely braiding on the rope, and come from the Holy LandBad: Some of the beads had very sharp/unfinished edges or splinters (see the brown rosary pics); they definitely would cut a kid's hands. (I actually tied red ribbon next to that one bead when returning, so the Amazon staff''s hand won't get cut!) Also, some of the adhesive used to keep the rope from coming undone also resulted in rough/sharp edges (although these wouldn't hurt like cut wood.) The red dye from the red rosaries bled onto the beige rosaries; I could see the kids being disappointed by the stains. Some of the beads were also flat on one side or had other discoloration. Just not right for my purpose.

The lovely finish on the wood combined with the cord used to make them makes these easy and comfortable in your hands. The engraved Corpus on the Cross is a nice touch. Many of those with the Corpus glued on, lose it after a short while.

I love the style of these but unfortunately each one that my family has worn, began to unravel within about an hour of putting them on. We do not have anything tugging on them or anything.
