Caddie Buddy Mic Stand Mount/Holder for iPads (iPad Pro 12.9 (12.9 inch Screen/Big One))

I would give it 3.5 stars, primarily because of flimsy plastic material.PROs: Ability to mount iPad with case; very versatile mounting options allowing you to find what works best for you. The added gooseneck is helpful. Easily accommodates different size mic stands.CONs: Material is cheap plastic; it hasn't broke yet but the feel makes you very cautious. For the price (compared to others offered), I expected better quality materials. The only reason I keep it is because I can't find another option that accommodates my case.

Excited to find this product! Waited a few gigs and rehearsals before posting my review to check how it holds up. I can see my tablet a lot easier now and not obstructed by my mic's boom arm. Holds my tablet even with a back cover that keeps my pen in place. No more switching tablet cases every gig! Fits perfectly in my rolling cart and feels very sturdy. Awesome bonus: business owner contacted me personally to make sure I got the correct size for my tablet, coz I sure was wrong! The first one I ordered was for an iPad bigger than my tablet. Very much appreciated, sir!

With some maneuvering, it works fine. I'm concerned about the 'plastic' feel of it and if by tightening the mounts will the plastic crack. It didn't so far. Overall it works as described and I have no issues with it except whether it will hold up in time. Would I buy this again? Yes.

Works great but could be made of stronger materials

I am a a musician and recently got an iPad Pro 12.9” to be mounted on a music stand vertical and be used for lyrics and various bluetooth and midi controls. The Caddie Buddy arrived on time, well packed and all present and correct. The instructions are adequate and leave a great deal of freedom for the user to find a configuration for his or her specific use.The iPad clip itself is ingenious. It grips the corners of the iPad and holds it firmly. Though made of a hard but flexible plastic the manufacturer (who I have communicated with) guarantees it no questions asked. All construction is high quality and, as mentioned, capable of myriad configurations.I did considerable research before ordering the Caddie Buddy. Nothing else I found is comparable.

I really like this ipad holder. I got one for my 12.9" ipad pro. My gig setup is now a little sleeker, now that I can attach this to the mic stand and get rid of my music stand. The ipad holder is sturdy. The 4 grabbers work great, even with the ipad case. It swivels and turns any way you can imagine. I like to position my ipad just off to side of the mic. Works great. There are cheaper ones out there - I paid about $50, but as they say, you get what you pay for.
