This Prince stroke collar set contains stroke limiting collars of varying lengths that are placed between the piston and gland of a hydraulic cylinder for controlling the stroke distance. They are made of die-cast aluminum for resistance to corrosion. They are split halves with steel springs for snapping onto the piston rod, and they are non-abrasive for protection of the rod.Linear motion actuators are independent units that, when combined with a switch and power source, push or pull loads in a straight line. Actuator types (mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, piezoelectric, electro-mechanical, and telescoping) vary and their application is determined by the power source available, as well as the load and space requirements.
