For bike park use, riding mostly blue flow trails. I'm 41 and trying to get to work the next day so not trying any 20 ft jumps out steep tech, and lightness/ventilation/comfort were my top concerns. Hopefully I won't put it to the test but confident for what I do it'll be strong enough to protect my head from serious injury. Doesn't have MIPS so if your riding black trails I'd recommend spending the extra $50-100. I had to buy all my gear (knee/elbow pads, pants, etc) so had to stay within a reasonable budget. Also, I read the reviews so I understood it might be a little snug around your cheeks, but I have a narrower jaw line so it's a comfortable fit. It's SO LIGHT and really comfortable, wish it didn't spend 4 weeks researching other helmets cause this really exceeded expectations. Going to Trestle in a week and with Covid I didn't want to rent a helmet.

Only disappointment was liner kept coming out of back of helmet and had to continually stuff back into shell. Emailed TLD to see if it was common this happened with this series, no response...disappointing. Began a return, but new helmet wouldn't get here in time for state race. Its light and has great graphics. A little hot in summer, didn't breathe well. Gonna use as back up or a loaner.

I ride this helmet when the ground is frozen in MN or when I am going to ride very aggressively on mountain bike trails as I have had bad crashes in the past and makes sense to be proactive in staying safe. It doesn't feel any different then my other high end mountain bike helmets that are not full face that I wear during summer months though I do feel much more confident wearing this helmet.

Helmet is light weight and fits great. It has great features like quick removable cheek pads and all pads are washable.

This full face is great! Super comfortable and fits well (no feeling of pressure points on my head). The chin bar is a good size and it feels sturdy. Bought this over other lighter-weight options because it can take multiple impacts which makes it more affordable. It's top of the line safety rating is a mega plus as well.

Great helmet perfect for downhill bicycling and or E-sk8! Find the size that fits you perfectly and the helmet wont give you any trouble. I bought a medium and it fits snug in all the correct places. Worth the money, will own forever!

My son was in a serious accident while wearing this helmet (he hit head first into a brick wall). He was airlifted to the hospital and every medical professional that he encountered (there were many) said the outcome would have been very different and he may not be alive if he didn't have this helmet on. So I can say without a doubt, TLD makes exceptional products. Buy this helmet - it is worth the $.

Great helmet. Pads are easily installed and removed. Use it for BMX racing and it is comfortable even in 95 degree heat.
