Excellent sound.
I bought a Martin copy that had a knockoff Fishman in it. The knockoff could have been ok but the volume on all the strings were not the same. The sound quality of this one is EXCELLENT. Balanced.

Great upgrade for my older Martin guitar
Great sound quality and control layout. A little challenge in adjusting the hole and mounting the control in the guitar. Very satisfied with the product.

good product easy to install
I was a little hesitant to cut a hole in my new expensive guitar. But, it was relatively easy process to install the Presys+. I had to reduce the height of the saddle, which meant having a guitar pro cut the groove where the saddle seats deeper. I was afraid to do this because of concerns about making the depth uniform.. The sound is great and the best feature is on board tuning.

Not worth the money
Very disappointed in this product. No instructions in the box. Had to look up the manual on line. The low E string and A string are very bright and the other stings produce very little sound. My guess is that no matter the price they are counterfeit. A $200.00 lesson learned.Tedward

Poor Engineering/Quality Control
This was supposed to be a great product, according to reviews. I own a small guitar repair shop and a customer wanted a preamp installed in their 1966 classical guitar. Cool, no problem. I did some research and recommended this one. Very cool design with one huge engineering flaw - the mounting ring that attaches it to the guitar body is a hard, not-at-all flexible plastic. All well and good if guitars were rectangles with flat edges but not so great in the actual real world. Using a different plastic compound that's a little more"rubbery" would be a VERY simple way to fix this problem. But what do I know? I didn't go to college like the geniuses that designed this POS. But wait... there's more - I went to do a soundcheck to see if it was worth doing some modifications and NO SOUND. I know what I'm doing; this was not user error. The pickup and output jack were properly installed. It's not rocket science; there isn't even soldering involved. Tried several cables, batteries, etc. to no avail. The unit was defective. So I returned it and got another one. I figured out some mods that involved soaking the mounting ring in hot water to reshape it (a very risky task) and some wood filler to hide any remaining imperfections in the seal between the ring and the guitar body. customer was thrilled. Then they called me a week later and said that it starts making funny noises after it heats up for about 20 minutes. I asked a bunch of troubleshooting questions and had them change out the battery but nothing fixed it. These things come pre-wired so you can't blame the tech. It was a 2nd defective unit in a row. As far as I'm concerned, this thing is a $220 paperweight. I probably just had bad luck - the thing sounded great when it worked, but still... I think Fishman needs to make some personnel changes in their quality control department.

Two times I have bought this Pickup system and two times the catch has broken
This is the second one of these pickup sets I've bought for my guitar and both catches broke within a few months of buying them. Crappy cheap quality at an exorbitant price! Not great quality parts!!
