The author covered the basics well. Would recommend this book to anyone who is looking into hydraulics or get an understanding on how it works.

This book is horrible. I endured through the first chapter and had to stop. The grammar is terrible - my guess is that this was translated from a different language by someone who doesn't speak English that well. Painful to read. Don't waste your time or money. Who knows if the equations are even accurate - I didn't bother to work through them.

It is a very good book. I am an English teacher and I have been looking for a book like this one for a long time. I use it every day. I love it and my students love it too. I recommend it.

Full of detailed information that is not organized in a useful manner for the beginner.I appreciate the effort that went in to writing this book, but it seems more like a brain dump than a useful primer. I haven't finished it yet, but I'm not seeing anything that would make me believe it will be different by the time I've gone through it.
