HELLA H87988451 Color Shieldz Protective Laminate for all Rallye 4000 / 4000FF / 4000i Series Lamp - Clear - 2 Piece

I got these for my Hella lights(obviously). Once they are on you don't notice them because they are so clear. I have the 700FF series light, which they don't make a Shieldz protective cover for, so I had to trim them with scissors as these are meant for the 1000 series lights. I've had them on for about 6 months now and no issues. Once I go through a cold winter with them, I'll update this review. A little tricky to get on straight as they stick really well and you have to pull them off again to reposition them. Make sure your hands are clean and don't let them touch anything before you get them on the lights, as dirt sticks to them really well too! I'm glad for the extra protection these afford as I tend not to use the white plastic shields that came with the lights.April 2019 - I still have these on my lights after 4 years and they keep my lights protected and clean. If they get dirty or coated in bugs I just wipe them off with my hand or a paper napkin, even when dry. They haven't scratched or gotten cloudy. I live in the north and we have salt, sand and gravel on the roads in the winter. I haven't had any stone chips yet and the cold doesn't affect them either. These are definitely worth getting.

I installed these on some Hella Rallye 4000's. First impression when I opened it up was, "man these are thick!". I removed the metal retaining ring before eyeballing the install. Go slow, working aire out towards the edge from center. There is some give in the adhesive if you need to remove it a little to undo a big air bubble, just go slow and try not to stretch the the lens cover. Went on great, nice and thick. Should hold up nicely to road grime. If you're spending your hard earned dollars on quality lighting, a few extra bucks to protect it is well worth it.

Would recommend, great investment protection, just need to be careful and work out the bubbles and take you time, a pin and a little heat can work out the rest!
