I used these to provide battery powered lights for my wife's model village
My wife as a Christmas village that has several small "buildings" in it. I use these LEDs and AA or AAA batteries to provide battery powered lights for those buildings. The color of these LEDs is closer but not exactly like incandescent bulbs.

Resistors are too large
LED themselves are bright; they are clear initially but produce the blue light when the power applied. But the resistors included with the diodes are too large. I am talking about the nominal, it is about the dimensions. It is impossible to fit the diode with soldered resistor inside of a standard Christmas light casing. I could only reuse the old resistor from burnt diode, whenever it was possible. That made the resistor part of a package useless for me.

I have tested these LEDs and I am pleased
I put one of these diodes on a lab power supply set at 3 volts for six hours. At that voltage, it consumes 14ma of current and is VERY bright. After six hours there are no problems, the current is dead on steady, and it is just warm, not hot.I conclude 3 volts is a good setting for this LED.The calculation for finding the current limiting resistor desired ( a resistor in series with the LED) for this 3 volt LED at 14ma is simple,( using a battery also in series). Here are examples:R =(Battery voltage - LED voltage )/ Led Current in ampsFor a 6 volt battery: R = 6-3/0.14 = 214 ohmsFor a 12 volt battery: R = 12-3/0.14 = 642 ohmsNote that resistors do not come in every value, so choose the next larger one.For a 1% tolerance resistor, use 215 ohms and 649 for the above. For a 5% tolerance resistor, use 220 ohm and 680 ohm.The enclosed 430 volt resistors works well with a 10 volt power supply.Five bucks for a hundred (5c each) seems like a bargain.

Warm white LED light is easy on my tired eyes.
I like the warm white color.I just use 'em for messin about making 'dead battery' nightlight/flashlights and harvesting daytime sunlight for night time illumination. They do get bright but that is not what I have tested.

Bright and wide angle, very little power
These can run on almost no power. Just the induction from an adjacent circuit can make it light a little if ground is shared only. That effectively is running on no power to it. With a 12v source, using 10k resistor it still is as bright as a normal led. If there is a load in parallel (relay, resistor, etc) it shunts down induction lighting and works more like a standard sensitivity led input. Super bright when using the included resistors. I've had these before and have measured that they will run on 1ma (12v with high value resistor) of power and probably last nearly forever that way. Being 3mm, their use would be for indicators and such, not lighting a larger area (of coarse).

Nice little color changing LEDs.
These are nice, bright, inexpensive color changing LEDs. I've used mine to make USB powered, rectangular grid decorative lights, and they work quite splendidly.A note for other potential buyers though: cheap color changing LEDs like this WILL NOT remain synchronized for more than one or two cycles. If you need color changing LEDs to synchronize, you have to get ones designed specifically for that feature (if they exist), or get RGB LEDs and control them using a micro-controller or some other similar method.

Great colour
These came today and I stuck one into a little joule thief just to see how it compares to the other warm white LEDs I had, and it is much nicer. I got the Chanzon warm white LEDs last year, and the colour of them looks pale and sickly, but these new ones are really warm and look lovely, they are just what I was hoping for.I also tried one on a 5v switched-mode power supply, with one of the supplied 430 ohm resistors, and that is nice too. I have not built many circuits on a 5v supply, so I dunno if I will end up needing all those resistors, but it's nice to have them, and given the price, they're basically a free addition, as compared to other manufacturers that don't supply any resistors.I will definitely buy more LEDs from this manufacturer if I need more or other colours, &c.

Buen producto
Excelentes, solo que el de 3mm mide en realidad 3.180 mm (de acuerdo a medicion hecha con un vernier)
