Well made, easy to use, and accurate
I bought this meter because I am shooting both film and digital with both available light and multiple strobes. In addition to my digital SLR, I use a Bronica S2A which is fully manual and had no internal metering. This meter has both ambient and flash modes, covering just about any lighting. I also bought the reflected light adapter and will probably get the spot attachment eventually. I checked it's accuracy against the meter in my DSLR and found it spot on. The only thing I did not like is the cover for the PC cord connector that tends to come off easily. I put a wide rubber band around the bottom of the unit to hold it in place.

Great little unit with only one drawback.
This is one of those digital gadgets that has six buttons that do about 20 different things. I haven't tried it out yet in the field as I have been reading the instruction book and learning how to use it. This seems to have all I will want for my portrait business and then some. It even has cine function for movie cameras. I like how it will give you the readings for different shutter speeds by just clicking the up and down arrow button. So if you get 1/60th at f/11 and click it to 1/125 it will show f/8 or whatever. The only thing I don't like is that the dome must be removed to take a reflective reading rather than just sliding over to the side as most meters do. This makes me wonder how long before I lose it or drop it and watch it go into some place I can't get it. I suppose they figured you would be using it in incident mode all the time so that would not be a problem. Still would have liked some sort of connection to the unit by either a chain or permanent attachment. That is why I gave it 4 stars rather than 5.

A Fine Basic Meter
I'm a full time pro. This meter does the basic stuff really well. Love the accuracy! I bought an accessory flat-dome to use in different lighting scenarios and that is what I mostly keep on the meter. Though switching to the supplied round-dome is easy and quick. The meter has held up well and does what I need at a nice price point.

Hunk of junk - skip this brand
Not capable of metering at certain shutter speeds like 1/200th, 1/160th, and probably some others. Doesn't meter aperture f/4.5, or 5 no matter how much you change your light's settings. Very expensive, useless hunk of garbage and I plan on returning mine.

Wonder about Quality Control; Need to Buy Attachments
I should have spent more on something of better quality. It is a one trick pony without buying extra covers for the sensor, but I really wonder why I had to adjust it by -1.4 out of the box.I question the quality control.

Works well
No issues using this light meter. I have the attachments too. If I had to choose again, I'd get a light meter with the spot meter built in. Changing and storing the attachments is a pain and doesn't flow when in the middle of nowhere where just reaching in your bag is better than searching your bag for small parts. It does a good job in metering the light and doing average metering. Spot meter, with attachment works well to, but I think there's a better way to spot meter.

Just like simple things
A good simple unit to use, if not a larger item than I expected by the photographs.Still very much worth the money.
