TULIPETIMO Rose 10/0 TER-12 Crochet with Cushion Grip

I just started crocheting this year, and I think I grip my hooks quite tightly, making my hands hurt from tensing up. My hands, in general, are relatively small for an adult woman. I think this is the best crochet hook I own. I started off with hooks I got from amigurumi kits, but as I started exploring other projects, I needed bigger hooks, and I wanted to invest in comfort, so I could crochet longer. This is my first Tulip hook, and I am HOOKED. While it might be a bit too long, the grip is so comfortable that I feel that I actually lessen the tension in my grip, meaning that I can feel my hooking hand be more relaxed while using it, which also helps me speed up. It grabs bulky yarn so easily, too. I work up blankets quite fast when I use this hook. While it's relatively pricier, I think it's worth the price! I've since also tried Clover Amour hooks, and I still vote for Tulip because of the comfort! I ended up hunting down the 12mm and 15mm versions after this, and hopefully, I can find the 8mm in stock one day!

This brand in my opinion has the best crochet hooks. I’ve tried furls hooks and they break so often idk what the hype is about. Tulip is my go to hook and I plan on getting all the hook sizes and not using another brand again. I have a crochet business and I find these to be worth the money. They are easy to using, they glide against the yarn effortlessly. I would recommend these to beginners and advance crochet artists.

I've been crocheting 40 years and found these to be the best hooks on the market. Ergonomic for hands; glides smoothly through yarn with no rough edges; hook does not separate yarn; sizing is always accurate; and can easily be used for both knife hold or pen hold users.

These hooks are my favorite! My hands don’t cramp using them, the yarn glides easily over the hook, no snagging on it, yet the shape of the hook keeps a loop on it (unlike some others I’ve tried that). The fact they are pink is fun, too.

These are great hooks and since I have arthritis, I look for comfort hooks. They are not as padded and soft as some hooks I have used but they are very nice. They are a bit on the pricier end but my wrists and fingers are worth the hours I spend crocheting.

I bought the 6.0mm as an alternate to the 6.5mm I also bought because I didn't know how the hook would affect my grip and results. I've been happily using Boye & Bates hooks for decades. The Tulip Etimo is very comfortable even though it is not as long as I would normally desire. That does not matter. The shaft, grip and handle are really easy on my hands. I have a "trigger finger" on my left hand and use a therapy glove so I was concerned the handle would inhibit free hand/finger movement. It does not. I immediately created a good swatch and found the head worked through stitches with ease. Because the pattern called for a 6.50mm hook I an using the 6.50 hook because I'm making a clothing item and I want the measurement to be true to the pattern. I could kick myself for not picking up the Tulip Etimo a long time ago. It helps me control tension and maintain consistency which is super important when measurements matter. I found I was "noticing" and adjusting whenever my tension would change/lapse.

Tulip etimo hooks are my favorite to crochet with. I have a few of the red ones and wanted to try one of the pink ones. These work the same and just as well as the red ones that I already own. I love that I can purchase another hook of practically any size without having to purchase the entire set. This has allowed me to trial different types of hooks to ensure that what I am purchasing is what I will want to continue using. This hook is awesome! (I am still partial to the etimo red though simply for the color.)

These are the best! The yarn slides so smoothly on the hook! This is a huge thing for me. I've used many types and brands. Nothing even comes close to these!

If I could afford the cost, I would buy more! - nothing to dislike about this product
