DAMOCore Drill Bits Adapter 5/8"-11 Male to 3/8" Triangle Shank for Electric Hand Drills for Diamond Core Drill Bit Hole Saw

I was using this with a 1 1/4 inch diamond core bit for wet drilling into concrete that had lots of really hard stones in it. The bit would jam up occasionally because of the stones and this adapter actually bent off axis. It actually put a very little twist in the shaft, too. It was fairly easy to get the bend out using the leverage of the drill while the bit was in the hole being drilled. Anyway, I ended up having to use a diamond wheel to cut into the cement because the core bit wasn't working out with all those stones in there. The adapter works, but the steel with which it is made doesn't seem to be all that strong.

I took a chance on this, even with the other bad reviews. I only had to drill one hole, through a cinderblock wall. The shaft bent as soon as the teeth in the bit grabbed slightly. With no way to straighten it out, at the job site, the adapter became useless. I tried to straighten it out. But, with no way to accurately determine the accuracy, I fear it wont work very well.I am not sure why it even comes up as recommended, when viewing the concrete bit I purchased at the same time. This adapter may work well, if you are drilling wood. But, not anything that will bind, or catch the bit with any real grip.Based on the time between ordering, and using, I was not able to return or exchange it. My bad, for ordering ahead of time.Do NOT buy this product. Please read all the bad reviews, and believe them. I had one hole to drill, and even I would never rely on this product for even that small of a job.

Nice construction, but I really doubt its water proof!This backpack does not have a zipper in the main compartment, only velcro 😡, I don't even want to give it a try in the water!

Fits the core bit I purchased perfectly (as it should) - nicely made for the price, and totally useable. This adapter works fine for the priceand maker. If you want superior quality, get a German bit and adapter.

fit the bit well, but I would like to have had the ability to add a pilot bit?

I bought a DynaBrade pneumatic finishing wheel with a 5/8” x 11 female threaded hub and needed an adapter to be able to use it on my electric drill. This is perfect for it. I’d recommend Amazon shoe it in the “frequently bought with” recommendations for the DynaBrade 94472 wheels.
