I backed this cold brew system via a crowd funding back in 2015. I ended up having to toss the original model because I managed to make it impossible to unscrew the parts (I obviously forgot the lefty loosie righty tighty...).The Bod cold brewer has an amazing stainless steel mesh filter that steeps all the flavor and with virtually no residue. Once I make the coffee concentrate and tuck that away I pour more water in to the basin and let that sit in the fridge for a regular cup of ice coffee (no added water needed).I enjoy an iced coffee all year round and this makes an ample to keep you fueled all week!

Best choice for money! Huge filter size, can prepare enough coffee for 1-2 week. Easy to operate, and produce great taste coffee. I have several different tools for cold brew and ice-drip, this is by far my favorite. Hassle free as long as you tighten the cap hard. Yes the reason why it can’t score 5 stars is, as commented by fellow buyers, the cap have to be tightened very hard or the liquid will flood your kitchen.

Very simple to use and great coffee

I read some negative reviews about leaking & was a bit worried but if you screw it on correctly as with anything that screws together & has liquid in in, then it will be a good seal. Mine has not leaked at all. I also got another container so that I can brew another ( BodyBrew BOD Cold Brew Coffee Re-Brew Chamber ) while I enjoy what I already brewed. This way when I am getting close to the end of what I made, I can start the brewing another batch in the other container.

The very first time I tried to use this, it immediately started leaking. Given that so many of the parts screw together, I made sure everything was correctly attached and screwed in tight. But no sooner had I filled it with water and coffee grounds, brown liquid began to trickle from the bottom. While this is an attractive design for a cold brew coffee maker, it's useless if it fails at the most basic task of holding liquid. Complete waste of money, half a pound of coffee, and 5 minutes cleaning up the mess.

Very easy to use - and the coffee it produces is very good. Only problem is it leaks so bad I have to put it in a pot to contain the leaks.Problem is the large O-ring at the base (the larger bottom side of the unit.) Unless I put the base on a no-slip mat and twist closed with both hands, the unit leaks around the base. Went through a lot of towels finding the "sweet spot" of how much I had to tighten it down. Leaking varried from flooded my counter to a drop seaping out every 5 sec or so. Still don't trust it enough to set it on my counter without putting it in a pot first.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas after having read some of the reviews of it leaking. Knowing I could return it if that were the case. He has been using this every single week and has not had a since issue with leaking! The threading is very finicky, so I could see how you could not screw if on well and it could leak - as long as you’re careful, it works great and as planned!

I’ve made cold-brew coffee before, using a very similarly designed product from Hourglass Coffee Cold Brew. Although the original system was big and a little cumbersome, it did its job well—-particularly, one. It made the coffee—-and kept the coffee—-in the carafe. Not on my counter. I’ve used the BOD system purchased and reviewed here once, and already it has leaked coffee twice. A very auspicious beginning. I’ll continue to try this, having paid $20.00 for it, but at this point:I ain’t impressed, pardner.At this point, Nescafé Taster’s Choice Instant Coffee is winning a competition I hadn’t intended either to enter.Stayed tuned, America;I’ll check back in nine more days.

Es una herramienta muy práctica para hacer café cold brew. El diseño y la practicidad son muy buenos. Hasta ahora no me ha dado fugas; todo está en un buen cierre y ajuste de las partes.
