Collector's Item
This ACK special edition has Excellent binding and very beutiful coloured illustations of ACK, as usual as we had studied in our Child age.I had purchased this special edition for my 10 year old son to make him known with Ancient Indian Cultures in the form of Pictures. He does not like to study books , however, he is studying all the ACK very fast and also remembering. This is classic help that I had received from ACK.This is very good collector's Edition.I think that every Hindu who have 8-10 years child at their home, must purchase this collector's Item without any second thought.

Awesome mythology collection for all ages!
I love all of ACK's special issues but being the cheapstake that I am, I waited until it was available at a discount (INR 600) before buying it. At any rate, even at the original price, this is an excellent purchase. Thick binding. 22 titles. 704 pages. Charming, meticulously-detailed illustrations from some of my favorite Tinkle master illustrators like Ram Waeerkar, P.B. Kavadi and C.M. Vitankar! For those like me who are full of nostalgia about old times illustrations from the 80's and 90's, these are the books to revive the memories. This special issue of mythology stories is a cherished possession in my collection for me to read and reread and for my son to enjoy when he grows up!

can make sets of volumes then make one in go
I wish if they can make sets of volumes then giving one in bundle as it make difficult to handle and kids don't like it and it will get damaged easily after few rounds of reading and reading multiple person different vol. not possible. I felt hindi option would have been better.

Golden collection
Purchased it for my 6 yr old daughter. Brought back happy memories from my own growing up years in the 90s. Worth every penny as it's much better than the hindi animation films available in cartoon channels. Hope it develops good reading habit and a taste for classic stories. Will order more in the future.

Gods and Goddesses
Good introduction to the Hindu pantheon. I think its time to also incorporate more stories on our goddesses. The stories portrayals of Parvati, Rukmini and Sita as typical loverlorn damsels with no other goals in life aside from getting married based on their beauty is unfortunate and fuels the typical Indian woman stereotype. Time to take a re-look at the different re-telling of the Ramayana and other stories.

A good book and happy with Amazon's service
A good book and happy with Amazon's service. Some stories are slightly different from what I have read/know. Like in one place it says Khamsa as Krishna's cousin and not uncle. I don't know if the stories I knew were correct or ACK. This difference was found only in some stories.Otherwise its a good book and interesting to me and my 8 year old daughter. Thanks to ACK she knows more mythological stories and about Gods and Goddesses than me or others in the family.

Great fun
This is a colorful book with great stories, same as I read as a child. My children are now enjoying them. A very heavy book but opens very well as the binding is excellent. This is something that can last forever. It can make a great gift to a young person who is interested in Hindu mythology.
