Definitely lessened the damage. Would recommend getting a few tubes if you 50+ gallon. I found it ran out very quickly, as the tube is actually only about half to 3/4 full of the powder.

My discus were turning black and developing white cloudy eyes. I was recommended to try this product out after other meds didn't work. It did not save my fish. It ended up killing more fish than curing.

A must for your fish fist aid kit! Seachem makes amazing products and this little vial of SulfaPlex could save your fish. It arrives as a small vial of powder. Attached to the lid is a small scoop. There was plenty to dose a 40 gallon tank a few times and then some! It helped Sushi. Obviously, there are times a fish cannot be saved, but this worked for us! Please be sure to remove the carbon from your filter before using! It did not discolor our water much, if at all. Perhaps a little cloudy? That cleared up almost immediately once the carbon filter was replaced.

I have a planted community tank that includes 3 black neon tetras, as well as regular neon tetras and glowlight tetras. For some reason the black neons and only the black neons started showing some weird white stuff on their bodies. At first it was just a few specks on one fish, so I thought it was Ich, but treatment I've used successfully on Ich in the past (Seachem Paraguard) did not affect it and it got worse and worse, sort of looked like large patches of fungus, but not fuzzy, or sort of like lymphocystitis, but not lobular/cauliflower-like. All 3 fish got it and the patches were growing rapidly, so I was afraid they were goners, and also afraid it could spread to the other fish. I've been happy with Seachem products so I researched all their medications and decided to try this one as a broad-spectrum approach since I had no idea what this illness was. Within 1 day I could see improvement and over a period of 2-3 weeks (not continuing to add more Sulfaplex, but after finishing the initial treatment) they gradually improved and now, several weeks later, they look completely normal and are acting healthy. It did not apparently affect the other fish, or my plants. I moved a mystery snail til the treatment was over; the instructions do say it is not safe for invertebrates. If you have an unknown disease this is definitely worth trying. Even though it's a very small container, you don't have to use very much, so I still have lots left over after treating a 40 gallon tank. I'm glad to have some on hand in case I ever have a weird disease problem in future.

Box was torn when I received it like it had been opened. Not sure the effectiveness of the meds and I also using Metroplex, Kanaplex and focus from Seachem trying to save my baby!

had a weird out break of some kind of fungus, a white fuzzy outgrowth was appearing on my fish . Tried major water changes , ( I already do weekly 50% changes weekly ) but it got worse . Lost My prized betta and one cardinal tetra . Amazon to the rescue ! After looking online at local pet shops they had nothing amazon did have seachem sulaplex . One dose in 3 days fixed the issue .This comes in a vile with a dosing spoon , followed directions , removed my carbon , and it did the trick for my 20 gallon long . Amazing product !

I don't understand this company or I guess who ever is shipping them out is tampering with them..i bot a bunch of od medication and all of them come with unlevel amounts of medication.. the sulf I bot was 75% EMPTY!!!! almost no medication inside. some come overflowing with medication. not sure wtf is going on

Works better then other products I tried. Took 3 doses but it worked!
