Red Heart Fine Crochet Thread, 20, Natural

Great for crochet, but I needed thread for tatting. If my eyes were better I would tat with this, but alas, cataracts happen and I need to use a slightly heavier thread for the laces that I want to make. I will crochet lace with this, and get a thicker thread for tatting. This slides smoothly over my fingers when using. This is important for old hands. I like the sheen of this thread on my finished projects. I made a tiny doily to see how it would look, and I'm very happy with it. I will update this review when I have dyed something, but I have no doubt that it will accept and hold color well.

I returned it because I needed a larger size for my project.

This thread is perfect! Nicely packaged, came quickly, wonderful quality. This brand is my favorite to tat with. I really wish they had more colors in size 20, though. Tatting with this and a size 7 needle worked perfectly. Might try size 30 thread and size 8 needle eventually too.

Coats Crochet Fine Crochet Thread size 20 White is a standard for creating tatted snowflakes for my Christmas Cards. I also use it to create bookmarks, tatted edging for hand towels and pillow cases. It doesn't tangle or knot itself when I am working on my projects. Also, when I decide to paint glitter on the snowflakes this thread holds and holds that glitter in place. I used this thread for the designs in Tatted Angels and More pattern book also.

Very disappointed in the order-fillers. I ordered the 3-pack of #20 red heart crochet cotton. I received 1 (one). 1 of 3. I talked to CS-Kim and was sending me the whole pack. Well—— I received 1 (one) again. I have yet to receive #3. 3-pack means…. 3 in a pack. Hmmmm! Maybe stick to ordering one- never packs.

I have trouble finding these in the stores. Am glad I can order. I use to add edging on hand towels and even face cloths. Nice addition.

I received the product much quicker than expected and was delightedI did. I found it for a very attractive price , but unfortunately it is no longer on that tempting price. Would love to try other vibrant or metalic colours for this good price. I wanted to try this fine thread for my crochet. Personally I find it hard but I guess it's a learning curve. Nevertheless great experience with this vendor and I would be happy to repurchase again and recommend it to others.
