Easy to put up. Looks great.

I spent a few days unsuccessfully searching locally for one of these. I should have checked Amazon first instead of wasting my time. It arrived quickly & matches the other towel bars in my bathroom.

I bought this to use in the kitchen for dish towels and attached it to a butcher-block island. I was able to mount it, with a little effort, under the lip of the island top with the screws provided and a power screw-driver. That's not how it's supposed to be done, but I was too lazy to pre-drill. :P It also comes with plastic anchors for wall-mounting, if you prefer. The width of the bar is perfect for dish towels because it doesn't force you to fold the towel over or bunch it up, allowing it to dry faster. As for the towel bar's appearance, it's not elegant or modern, nor is it perfectly symmetrical or aligned. It's clearly a utility item designed and sold to hold a towel or other things you want to hang on it. Anyone who wants a towel bar that will also contribute to the aesthetic appeal of wherever it's placed, should not be looking in the $10 or less bin! With that said, this is also not a hollow piece of junk that will fall apart while you're installing it. I don't think it can be beat for the price, and I'm very happy with it.

First, it arrives much faster than expected. Kudos to the seller for that! I ordered this with a bunch of other stuff shipped by amazon.com with their super saver shipping, when amazon.com finally shipped my other items out, this thing already arrived.It is very easy to install, I don't have a drill so I just hammered the screws in and tightened them with a philip-type screwdriver. This method works on most softer wood surface, but it does hold up strongly. It is in good shape when it arrived. Only thing is that the rectangular mounting plates (of the two sides) are a little uneven on the wall so all four screws went in with different depth.I don't have much space right beside the shower stall and there is no place for towel or clothes. I bought this so I have access to my towel (full-size) when I am in the shower stall. I am careful when I slot the towel in or remove the towel, since as other reviewers said, the opening of this bar is quite small.

The exposed screw bars are so much easier to install and this is a classic thats been around forever and looks great in a vintage bathroom! The mount plates are slightly uneven when sitting flat but when mounted it all pulls together and installs flat!

I searched for these cheap type towel bars. We just moved into a new apartment and I wanted to hang curtain panels to each side of the window which has blinds. I have a rustic decor so I painted these with a quick spray of textured paint then went over them with a brush on burnt umber color which is a deep rusty brown. I sprayed a quick clear to seal them. They are awesome to hold a curtain panel slightly away from the wall and only leave 4 little holes to fill when we move. They were extremely easy to hang. My panels aren't very heavy so I only used dry wall screws and they are hanging just fine. I ordered the 18" wide to use for my panels, but any size would work. I love how they turned out. They could be painted any color or just left the shiny chrome color they come in.

Towel rack was a bit tweaked upon arrival, meaning it would not fit flat on the wall. Was cautious and clamped it in the vise and managed to straighten it, was concerned about breaking it, enough to attach it to shop wall. Taking the price into consideration, I was not expecting a top quality product and this item will do the job I purchased it for which is to store bungee cords so they would be readily accessible.

For the price it met expectations rations. Was used to replace missing towel bar in trailer. No complaints to quality, for price .Screws included.

We needed a small bar and this worked perfectly. Only negative was Amazon shipping in a huge box.
