Shaft is brass and better than the plastic original.
Used on my RV. Relatively easy to install.

Valve did not fit our commode so I had to use the old one. May have been me, but it said it would work with our model commode.

Kit comes with instructions and all required new screws and parts. Works well and fits well. Takes about one hour time to replace all parts.
