*Since posting this, the touch on /off button has got very temperamental. In fact it just refuses to switch on most of the time. Disappointing. I may try taking it apart and shorting out the switch so its on only when plugged in.I was looking for a better mic during the pandemic and didn't want to go to the trouble of setting up a XLR mic, wearing a huge headset or having a Yeti standing in the middle of my desk. I just wanted something I could place on the desk and not get in the way and also I wouldn't have to perch directly over.So I went for this and it works perfectly. Just plug it in and adjust the properties in Control Panel/Sound/Recording and away you go. Works great with Zoom etc. I also ran it through Audacity to check the audio quality and it's fine. Nice and clear. It also works reasonably well from a distance so can be used by more than one person at a time. Good audio and hassle free. Add one to your home work setup for the next pandemic!

I ordered this microphone as I am now working from home during the lockdown.I was previously using a headset which was awkward taking on and off every time there was a call.This microphone does what it says, picks up everything that is going on... possibly too much as the dog barks at the postman arriving.The only downside is that the mute function is not as intuitive as the headset. My headset controls the mute function on Skype; however, this device simply switches on and off the microphone. No big deal, you get used to it, and therefore it is an excellent wee bit of kit for my small home office.

Using this with my work windows 10 laptop. Plug n play, worked straight out the box. I haven’t used it practically yet. But will update this review when I do. I’ve got a work Skype call tomorrow, so that should be the test.I went into the settings and was able to ‘test’ it. The microphone was picking up my son and wife in the background easily 10-12 feet away from me.Microphone feels a nice and heavy construction. The lead is a really nice braided construction with gold usb connector.Blue power light on top which is touch sensitive and mutes and unmutes very quickly.Overall first impressions very impressed

This looks amazing, it fantastic build quality and very easy to set up. The instructions are good, however, they didn't deal with the problem of feedback on the mic. You Tube video was a big help and I unchecked the 'Listen to me' box. Sorted within about 2 minutes of opening the Amazon parcel. I just used it in a Zoom meeting and was very impressed with the sound quality. The Touch button allowed me to mute myself with just a light click on the button which will be really useful during recruitment interviews, I'm conducting next week. can take any noise happening here out of the interview without distracting the candidates. I didn't realise how convenient that was going to be. Perfect. I have hooked the mic over the top of my screen, out of the way and not looking like a microphone.

I bought this to teach yoga on Zoom and this mic picks up the sound well when I'm moving. I also play music in my class with no problems. I'm happy with my purchase.Update two months later_microphone stopped working all of a sudden. Full refund received. I'm looking for a new mix now for my classes!

I have tried some of the more expensive conference microphones, and have found them very wanting with Poor sound quality and Poor microphone quality. However, the TONOR works extremely well, in fact, I'm using it right now, instead of typing I'm simply speaking into it and it's printing everything perfectly.To give you an idea of its capabilities I'm approximately three feet away from the microphone and not facing it. If you're planning on using this microphone for Skype it works very well however not to tell a lie there is a slight and I mean slight echo hardly worth mentioning, in fact, the person on the other end of your Skype call may not even notice it, and if you're planning on using this microphone for recording videos it will link up to your OBS account just like any other microphone and works pretty damn good.I've tried the more expensive ones and I'm sure you'll know which ones I mean if I say ones square and ones round and both are approximately £80 and I ended up sending them back I was not satisfied at all so decided on this cheaper and could not be happier, so I highly recommend this product.

I bought this to improve the sound quality of group video calls - we're using a HD webcam on top of the lounge TV, so it's a bit far away from us on the sofa and the built-in mic sounds quite distant. I was impressed; sound tests came out clear and loud and the people we've called with it have said that the sound is good and have no problems hearing us even from 2-3m away from the mic.The only thing I'd like to see improved, is the mute/on LED - it's blue when on, off when muted, which is different from any conference phone or VC mic I've ever used (and I've used a lot of them) and confusing; also can't tell the difference between not connected and muted. It would be better to use one colour to say "I'm alive and connected" and another for "muted", with LED off = unplugged.

Bought this to use with Discord and do online games. Usually have 2-3 people in the same room playing and the computer microphone could not pick up people speaking on the peripheral (it's not designed for that!). This worked much better, with clear voice and ability to mute the microphone with the button on top is great. Easy plug and play on Win10 system, and just select as audio input on your favourite app.
