The outside (non fleeced side) is waterproof and windproof. The blanket seems to get very warm and quickly and retains your body heat. It is very cozy. I got it a bit oversized which is perfect to cover me fully when camping in my vehicle. I've yet to sest this blanket to see how cold you can go with it and stay warm but it fits my immediate needs as a quick, stowable blanket for my overlander vehicle.It seems incredibly durable and I love that it rolls into itself with Velcro storage into itself.

I followed the enclosed card for rolling the blanket for storage. The Velcro on the flap is supposed to stick to the flannel (buffalo plaid for me). It doesn'tI'm going to cut it down, so I'll sew some Velcro in the right place for it to secure as well.It is lightweight and warm. It looks like it will keep the water out, too.

I purchased this for outdoor sporting events. I have used it twice now after purchasing just a week ago. I laundry it after receiving it and it held up nicely to washing and drying. I was able to fold it up a little bit smaller than what the instructions showed. It is very lightweight, but very warm. This last weekend we were at a stadium with temps in the high 50's, but lows in the 30's and it kept me very warm. The wind proofing was great too. The soft side does get things stuck in it like leaves, etc. but I did just pick it out and go on. I am not sure i would use this side laying on the ground as it seems like stuff would get stuck in it. Will definitely be using this alot in the winter months.

I wish we had gotten the bigger one. This one is perfect for sitting outside watching a football or baseball game for 1 person. I'd get a bigger size for 2 people. But, it's warm and soft on the inside. The "hard" outer shell blocks the wind very well!
