This is an authentic Fossil Backpack.

The bag itself is 1.1lbs and it can hold up to 11lbs.

Q: So how can you use this as a crossbody? Should it have come with an additional removable strap that I am missing?

Q: Is this genuine cow hide leather?

Yes. A little smaller for a backpack. I am a nurse and wanted something very nice and beautiful but big enough to take all my « things « . But I kept it and receive compliments on my bag all the time. The leather is very nice quality !
