It does what it says, rings even though it's off the hook and lights up.

This device does NONE of the things the seller claims. It does not disconnect the phone if left off-hook. It does not prevent callers from getting a busy signal if the phone is off-hook. It does not ring when a call comes in, nor does the light illuminate. It's just a lump of worthless plastic.Concerned that I had connected something improperly, I double checked the instructions and the connections. No change. This thing is a scam.

This has done basically what I wanted ut to do. It alerts the senior user when the phone is off the hpok, and allows a call to ring even though it is off the hook.So far, so goodEasy install.

My 90 year old grandpa could never remember to hang up his phone. Sometimes it was off the hook because he bumped it other times he forget to hang up after a call. People would then rush to his house to make sure everything was okay because they couldn’t get ahold of him. This product fixed that issue. Hasn’t happened since we set it up. Highly recommended.

Just what I wanted. It beeps if you leave a phone off the hook and allows calls to still come through. I am using it in my Restaurant.

This product came installed on my dad's cordless phone. Not only did the phone not hang up after setting the timer. But it may the phone have a really bad static sound and made it hard to hear people on the phone or if they leave a message.

I bought this not for the loud ring, which it has, if interested in that there are a few rings and volume setting to choose from and this would probably suit your purposes. I bought it for my father who forgets often to hang up the phone. When not hung up and an incoming call comes in the box rings, the phones don't ring,and you can answer only the phone that was not hung up. If you attempt to answer another extension you can not connect. My hope is eventually to train my father to push the end call on all phones, when he hears the sound. No luck so far, I still have to drive over and hang up his phones.
