Alterna Caviar Repair Rx Fill & Fix Treatment Masque, 5.7-Ounce

My hair is in good shape now thanks to the help of this deep conditioner. I color and had highlights on top of highlights for a couple of years and it really was beginning to show and take the shine out of my hair. I also have oily hair and was afraid to use too much heavy conditioner because I thought it would make my hair and scalp too oily. I found a new hair salon and this was the recommendation for my hair. I would use the Alterna Caviar Replenishing Moisture Shampoo and the Caviar Repair as my daily conditioner. It worked great and in a few months of constant use my hair stylist said she could see the difference in my hair. I got my luster back and didn't have the constant tangling. I still use this product but much less often. This brand is a really good line of product.

I found this product when I was searching for an alternative to Wen. I loved Wen, but I only used it once (it belonged to my friend) and didn't want to invest the amount of money in it that was likely going to be necessary for me to use it. If you're using Wen, you have to use quite a lot if using it as directed on the bottle so I see it being more costly. I also got really worried when I heard of several people using Wen whose hair started falling out a lot more heavily. As someone whose taken years and years to grow their hair out to mid-back length, I absolutely could not risk it.So I searched on... I couldn't have asked for any more of a miracle product for my hair. My hair has always been quite resistant to taming (via products) and this is the first line of products I've found that work THIS well. I pair this mask with the Caviar Repair Conditioner. I do, however, use a regular shampoo (which probably contains sulfates, but oh well) because when I was using the Caviar shampoo, it didn't impress me like these products did. I found that the shampoo was okay, I just didn't want to pay that price for something that I didn't completely love. As far as the mask and conditioner, the price actually isn't that bad because I don't feel like I have to use a ton of it for my desired results. I actually ran out of my conditioner and mask around the same time and let my hair go a week or so with a normal conditioner and no mask. It made me question how I ever did anything with my hair before I used the Caviar products. It makes brushing so much easier. Styling also makes my hair look and feel fantastic now. Lastly, it smells really good. I always catch myself playing with and smelling my hair now.I've recommended this product many times and will continue to, especially to all the other ladies fighting that thick/frizzy battle.

I read a lot of amazon reviews before purchasing this. It's great! I'd done some research and discovered that surgery can actually cause temporary thinning of the hair. I had thought it was age related. Rather than caused by my recent surgery. I am 65+. I knew from research that i needed to reinforce my hair with protein. So i bought this and also Nioxin shampoo and Nexus humectress conditioner. Hair feels great! A little of the Caviar goes a long way so really the price per use is very reasonable. I dont need to use very much at a time.

While I love Alterna products (rapid repair spray is amazing), I felt that this was nothing special for the price that I paid. I have damaged hair from once bleaching it to a white-blonde. I expected this to be a miracle mask but I feel that typical coconut oil works just as well. Sometimes I am wary of buying products unless is states "fulfilled by Amazon". Just something to keep in mind when buying hair products. This almost seemed like a fake product- as I did not see any "bursting microbeads" that so many reviewers talk about in their reviews for this mask.

Plastic containers were broken. The product inside did not look like real product that I used before.

My son and I love this masque for our hair! He's a swimmer and his hair gets damaged from the chlorine. This masque makes really hydrates his hair and makes it soft again. My hair is dry from all the sun damage being at the pool plus from all the coloring! Awesome product!

I am not pleased with this product at all. I have used many masks and this is one of the worst. Makes my hair dry for some reason (very strange). I wish I could return it as it is a waste of money.

Read a magazine review for this product and because my hair was really damaged I wanted to try. My hair was sooo bad you it sound like straw when you’re rubbing it together or combing it. It was dull and lifeless. After the first wash, it felt so soft and shine. It put some life into my hair! I would definitely recommend this product for anyone with damage hair or over bleached or coloured hair!

What a saviour this product is, my hair broke off through bleaching and I tried everything on the market to strengthen and repair it until this was recommended to me and the difference in my hair is amazing! Straight away my hair felt and looked so much better and I have used this twice a week and my hair no longer breaks off or drops out it looks and feels so much stronger. Absolutely love it and it is well worth the money it costs.
