Why is there no +/- sign to adjust after turned on?

Thank you for your question. Please do not worry as there is no +/- sign in working mode after turned on. You need to press “TEMP/TIME” for about 2 secs to enter setting mode in order to adjust the temp or time. Please read ALL the manual carefully before use. If you’re having trouble following the manual, please refer to the YouTube video below for specific operation. https://youtu.be/lZO-NLV4kHA Hope it helps. Feel free to contact us if you have further questions. Best regards.

Why is it in Celsius and not farenheit?

It's actually both and you can change it in the settings.

I just purchased this for my daughter for Xmas. It’s about 10”x12”. It’s a nice size to make T-shirts etc.
