My 5 month old Labrador is a strong puller with a lead and standard collar - choking all the time and really difficult to hold back. I was worried when someone told me that the pressure on a dog's throat can cause permanent damage to the larynx and/or thyroid gland. Having measured his chest it was 70cm so I got this in Large which is a comfortable fit when full tightened and has the maximum amount of growing room unlike other harnesses where I would have needed to get a medium for the short term and soon buy another in large.Some kind of miracle happens when I put this harness on because he is a pleasure to walk and doesn't seem to pull at all even when the lead is attached to the rear attachment point - I haven't had to use the front one which is what I expected to as by all accounts it turns your dog when he pulls. I am mystified because when I attach the lead to the collar he pulls again. Anyway, there you have it - I recommend this harness simply because it has worked. The quality seems very good although I've not used another harness so nothing to compare it to.

Bought a large then this medium one. Dog (10mth black lab) measured up well for large allowing room for any further growth. Looks sturdy well built. Bought to reduce pulling. The lead ring on back it set further back than I'm used to and caused considerably more strain trying to hold back than the normal ring position at shoulder blades. The front ring , which I wanted to focus on using to stop pulling, is on a neck loop which cannot be adjusted. In the large it was far too big in the medium it was still comparatively too big and in both the harness buckles up looking odd and ill fitting. Worse. The chest ring simply pulls right to side. Yes it stops pulling by the chest piece digging into the top of the dogs leg. This cause a terrible limp, looks most uncomfortable for him and quite frankly is cruel to use for any period. As the area is non-adjustable the design is clearly flawed. I have no idea how others have rated this so highly. Having tried L and M and made all limited adjustments possible I really can't see how the chest ring can possibly function without causing a limp. Both will be returned. My search for the right harness continues....

I have been torn between which harness to get for my cockapoo collie cross and I'm really glad I went for the True Love one in the end. It's a good quality, well-made product and the price is very good value compared to some of the other harnesses out there. My dog doesn't like harnesses that go tightly over her head and doesn't like the lead being attached to her collar, but with this harness the front unclips so the gap is wider and she is much more willing to stand still and let me put it on her! Would recommend.

If I can I definitely give 10 stars!!!Harness is fantastic!!! Very strong, comfort, and very nice. I can tell is like magic my dog stop pulling just on the first walk and I did not have to fasten it from the front to stop pulling just only on the top. I bought M size for my 4 months dalmatian is little bit big only 3/4 cm but ok my boy is walk very good and nothing problem. I definitely buy again. And high recommend, brilliant the best...

Excellent harness. Have been looking for one for some time that works well on our Staffy/English Bull Terrier. Previous ones have rubbed under her legs causing sore patches. This is excellent, no rubbing at all, she's obviously very comfortable wearing it, and it's made walking her a lot more pleasant for both of us. Easy to get on and off, grab handle.if necessary. Highly recommend this, well worth a go.

Brilliant harness. I have literally spent so much money to find one to suit my staffy and this one is great. His a very strong dog but usually we struggle finding a harness to fit. This doesn’t rub anywhere, is secure & adjusts round the neck with a clip which is amazing, his got quite a big head with him being a staffy but is really athletic so to get a harness to fit over his head and round his shoulders is great.My only thing I would change is to move the d ring clip to the shoulders rather than the back of the harness other than that stops him pulling as much and makes it easier for me whilst being comfortable for him.

Bought medium for my slight medium sized Border Collie. It was a little on the big side even with the neck bit on the smallest. But it’s not a huge problem. It’s very comfortable and the clip is in the middle of her back so this gives her a bit more freedom to jump around as she doesn’t like leashes attached to her collar. The handle is excellent and very sturdy for helping her into the car etc. It’s also padded and comfortable. Doesn’t bother her one bit. She can be an escape artist though and could probably get out of this if she really tried! So for very slender dogs you might want a small.

We ended up buying two of these harness's only because they do come up quite large. We went for a large initially but it was far too big so then re-ordered a medium which is perfect. It is nicely padded and also has a handle on the back part which is a good addition. A sturdy lead hook on both the back and the front which was important as our boy does have a good pull on him when he is out and the clips to put it on are good quality. Others we have bought, the lead hook has been quite flimsy so it was well worth paying just that bit extra for a sturdy well made one. Would recommend this product.
