Keep that funky moisture away!
I've got several vehicles that are parked outside, unprotected by a garage or some form of cover. Well, I used to get in a vehicle and have a feeling like the interior air felt kind of moist. Of course, there was no moisture/leak inside the vehicle. So I checked AMAZON for a silica desiccant and found this product. Depending on the interior cabin size, I put two or three packets inside. That moist, dank feeling subsides and all is well.When that interior funk begins to return, I take the packets out and place them in the microwave for two minutes. I keep repeating this process and all is well.

Works Well
I've got two of these in a smallish gun safe and when I checked them both today they were at 564 Grams each, which means they've absorbed over 100 grams of water. I've put them in the oven at 250 for 4 hours and that will remove most of the water so I can put them back in the safe.

Desiccant
I've bought quite a few of these over the last 4-5 years, and only complaint is that some of them will arrive with a bad seam which allows the beads to come out of the bag. Fortunately, the bag is contained in a plastic bag, so I simply pour the beads back into the bag and staple the seam. Works fine.

I use these in garage storage containers that hold mementos, like old photos and paper cards etc. They're great. They keep the moisture and humidity out and help preserve the quality of the box' contents.

I ordered several of these for a storage unit (to keep it as dry/odor free as possible).The beads are in a cloth-like bag, basically very very large versions of what you get in your shoe boxes!!!The bags are easily balled up, folded, or flattened to fit where you need them.Each bag is rated for 32 square feet, so I ended up ordering enough to accommodate my 5ft x 15ft x 10ft storage unit (needed 24 bags, orded 34 total).My unit didn't smell or feel damp to begin with, but even with the recent rain hammering the southern states, everything appears to have remained dry & undamaged by humidity --- which is HUGE!!!I'm using my storage unit to store wedding supplies, as well as seasonal items... I'm SO impressed with these bags!!!I'm rating as 4 stars, because the handling/packaging could have been better. Who ever filled my box with my order actually ruptured 4 of the cloth bags, so the beads from those 4 bags were loose inside the clear shipping bag.

Claims to be reusable... but after one use the bag was so weak that the granule were falling out ( THROUGH) the bag material.The bag FEELS like a tyvex material but when moist easily torn when handled.

Great dessicant for Safe
Put into a safe that had a humidity buildup, along with a humidity indicator. A week later the safe was completely dry. Works great!

Perfect size for my washer machine
Perfect size for my washer machine. I bought new front loaders, and after wiping down the washer, I put this in there to keep the moister out and no mildew. Love it.
