D'Angelico Deluxe EXL-1 Hollow-Body Electric Guitar - Matte Rose Pink

After reading the first review I was worried.My D'Angelico Deluxe EXL-1 Hollow-Body Electric Guitar in Matte Rose Pink showed up 2 hours ago in perfect condition and only required a tuning which is to be expected. I inspected the EXL-1 and this is a brand new guitar that has no cosmetic blemishes. The neck is perfectly straight as well.I tuned her up and played acoustically with nothing but big broad smiles. What a booming instrument the EXL-1 is acoustically! Then I plugged her into my amp and was again nothing but big broad smiles. The Seymour Duncan Johnny Smith floating mini-humbucker sounds incredible. The tone pot offers a huge tone sweep that is as noticeable as it is pleasing to the ear.Do not let the previous one-star negative review scare you off. This is a 5-star guitar available at a cheaper price than EXL-1 Premier. I bought this D'Angelico Deluxe EXL-1 in Matte Rose Pink for $720.02. These Deluxe EXL-1's normally sell for at least $2,000.I feel like I stole this guitar. Granted Matte Rose Pink would not be my first choice of color but is buying one in Royal Blue worth the extra $1,200? Not to me, it isn't.
