Very Happy
A sturdy little punch that does what it is supposed to do. Very happy with my purchase.

It’s a good value for the price.
The press is a solid quality 1/2 ton tool for light duty benchtop work. It was easy enough to assemble. The only complaint is the ram bore for the tool insert is NOT 3/8” (.375”) as advertised. It is about .34” and will need to be drilled out if you have 3/8” tools you plan to use with it. The upside is it only takes about 5 minutes with a drill press to correct it. I like it, and I’d buy another one if I needed a second one.

More cheaply made Chinese stuff.
I should really stop falling for this cheap Chinese stuff. I know it's not the fault of the Chinese, since I know they can make really great stuff if given the chance. It's really Jet's greed I suppose. So, I go to mount this on a bench, and the name plate falls off... not a good sign. Then I find one of the set screws is missing... what's the thread on this? I dunno... I'll figure it out eventually but what the heck. I mean, OK, it's all of 60 bucks, so what do I expect, right? Well... at least it appears to be functional. It lacks any sort of beauty or even craftsmanship. If you're ok with screws that are threaded in holes that are crooked, then this press is for you. This is the most basic, the most primitive, arbor press I can imagine one could make and still have it be functional. I really should have spent the extra 50 bucks and got the economy model from McMaster, but others had said nice things about this press so I thought I'd give it a try. Ah, I've been fooled again. On the plus side, things like the actual press seem to be reasonably square, so it should be functional at least. It's certainly nothing to be proud of in your shop. I'll be steering away from Jet from now on. This is the first time I bought something from them, and they are almost as bad as Palmgren. Wow, these good company names have just been run so deeply into the ground these days. I have not actually used this press yet, so it may break on the first work attempt, but if that's the case I'll write a followup. Save you money and get a nicer press.

Beware
Ram came without bore or locking set screw

Bent after only a weeks use. Seller won't take back.
Works alright...until it bends and can't be used anymore. And if course it bends just a few days after the return window has passed. I do not recommend this product. So unfortunate that the company won't take responsibility and exchange the it's.

works great!
Went together easily and is easy to adjust where the shaft will hit in conjunction to the position of the arm. Shaft runs straight and the base seem sto be perfectly level and lined up.
