I really like the quality and look of these earrings but my god they were soo difficult to get in. My holes haven't closed up as I've been wearing normal earrings so I'm assuming my holes were just a bit too small, it felt like the grooves at the end of the poles were getting stuck inside my lobe. I didn't give up though, with some vaseline and gritted teeth I managed to get them in. Currently feels like I've just had my ears pierced again, I'm hoping the pain will ease off and I will be able to sleep in them etc as I very much doubt I will be attempting to change these, for a while at least!

I was expecting them to be more petite, they are quite chunky and the screw back is quite big. They are nice, comfortable and good quality. I just thought I could wear them as sleeper studs, but they are too big for that.

Bought for my daughter, shes worn 3 pairs and lost 1 of each pair, balls come off easy, and I tightened them well shes 10 and dosnt play with them so I dont understand why they keep being lost

Bought these for everyday wear as I have 3 piercings in each ear. The shape is attractive but that's as 'nice' as I can get. The screw thread for the fastening is tricky. If you take it too far up the thread to fasten it can can stuck, too loose and you can end up losing one of the backs. Up to now I've lost two, do have taken them out altogether. All gave been consigned to the bin..:-(

I have become more and more sensetive to wearing earings, but i have been wearing these ones for about a year now. And never once have they bothered me!

After putting up with my love of 'statement' earrings for decades, my piercings suddenly started getting sore and hurting. Can't say I blame them: some of those danglers were heavy, and not always made of known materials. I switched to smaller styles in hallmarked gold but, eventually, the slightest snag or pull would hurt - I stopped wearing earrings altogether.Recently, I noticed my piercings were closing up. The hunt was on for some tiny, non-irritating studs with no joints, hooks or hinges that could snag, and rounded screw backs that would stay put and stop the post digging in to my neck while asleep. I was saving up £90 for some gold ones when I saw these.What a find! These have now survived a fortnight of sleeping and hair washing. I can't feel that they are there, they're loose enough not to pinch but light enough not to sag, the backs have never come off, and they don't stab me in my sleep.I've only used the little ball-shaped studs and the solitaire, as ear health is my priority, but the other shapes are pretty too. It took ages to get them on: the screw back's very small. It would be best to have help from someone with delicate fingers, but I managed it with some patience (and exasperation!) I guess it will get easier with practice.

Annoyingly this product had changed from last time I ordered so were no longer the flat disk type backing that i prefer for my daughter, what arrived are backed with the tiniest screw on ball. Means only i can change them for her as too fiddly for her and husband to do.Soon got past that annoyance though as they cleared up a horridly infected hole almost overnight. My mum had given her some silver earrings, not cheap ones either. I hadn't been on top of checking her ears as they had been pierced over a year with no issues. When she finally told me her ears were sore i was horrified at how infected they were. These arrived next day and with only salt water cleaning and switching to these surgical steel her ears heeled within a day of arriving.The actual earrings are nice and smooth, although the moons are a bit sharp edged.

I have 3 piercings in each ear and haven't consistently worn earrings for several years now - so when I do, they have a tendency to get quite angry and sore. I was looking for earrings that would do the same job as that first stud your ears are pierced with - to be able to leave them in comfortably, sleep in them, shower with them in etc - without the ear getting irritable. And these do the job perfectly! Whilst it's a little fiddly to put them in, once in you don't have to worry about them all. My lobes were a little angry for a day or so while they got used to having earrings in again but it's now a week later and they are very comfortable, and look great! Would recommend to anyone in a similar position!
