Recommend with Nutrafol 🙂
I had some pretty bad stress spots on both sides of my scalp, but after using this for six months, I really started seeing results. I was also taking Nutrafol at the same time, and I think that helped a lot too. I tried measuring, and my hair has grown about 2 inches since I started the routine. One thing I’ve noticed, though, is that some of the new growth feels a little brittle/crunchy. I have 3B curly hair, so maybe it’s just adjusting back to my natural texture—but the rest of my hair near the scalp doesn’t feel like that. Either way, I highly recommend it 🙂

Give it a fair chance (with update @ 6 months)
I've been using this for about a month and just ordered another box to keep as backup. I had no magical expectations of this product. I knew going in, that anything I used to try and regrow my thinning hair would take time and a commitment to use as directed. I already knew that I would need AT LEAST 2 boxes (3 bottles in each/6 months of treatment), before I could reasonably expect to see results. I can't really say if it does or doesn't work before that. So I will update at that time, I just had to address those who are stating that it doesn't work in contradiction to statements that are clearly stated on the box/in the leaflet.Yes it is the viscosity of water making it run, that is why I put in minute amounts at a time and make sure to massage it to as large of an area as I can with each application. I focus on a different area each time. It does seem like it's not even an amount that could make a difference. I read the entire leaflet and saw that during the testing trials, the same results were had whether you used 1ml twice a day (recommended) or tried to speed up the process by using more than that. I'm glad I read that, otherwise I would have finished the whole thing in the first week.I saw a few reviews saying it didn't work after only using it a month or so. It does say that the hair growth will come at the same rate of your current hair growth. It also says there will be a "shedding" period of sorts several weeks into treatment that will cause more hair loss right before the product really begins to start working. With all of this in mind, I have reasonable expectations. For me, I can honestly attest to the fact that I have a tingling, almost crawling sensation on different parts of my head after 1 month's use. My head does itch at times, but it's nothing unbearable, and I feel like it's due to the new hair growth/stimulated follicles. There have been times when I've forgotten an application. I keep reminding myself that it's only my results that will be hurt which gives me the drive to keep with it twice a day. I know the 6-months-from-now version of me will thank (present-day) me abundantly for giving it the old college try. I will give it at least 6 months, possibly 9 before officially saying whether it's not worth it (for me). Also to give myself the best chance, I am taking a multivitamin specifically for hair, skin, and nails with B complex and biotin. I've also made my diet more focused on lean proteins and dark leafy greens to give myself the best chance. I can't be a balding woman at my age, it's not fair and I will fight for it!UPDATE:I'm at the 6-month mark and I can definitely say that I have new hair growth. It's most noticeable at the hairline where there is visible short hair growing out. It is the same color and texture as my own natural hair. While I do still have the general thinning all over, I've had close friends let me know that they can see short hairs growing out of the top of my head while my hair is pulled back in a ponytail. I believe that if I continue with my "regimen" of increased protein, iron, vitamin C (to help with iron absorption), biotin, B12 and other minerals specifically for hair growth I should continue to see positive changes. Also, to be honest, while I was using Rogaine twice daily for the first few months, more recently I've slacked off a lot and have even gone several days in-between treatments. I usually try to remember to at least either take the vitamin, eat a a high-nutrient meal or use Rogaine every day.

Dangerous and toxic drug - massive hair loss with only 1 month use
** NEW USERS PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU BUY **Let me ask you, if you're told "Don't ever use drugs because using it for a month would make you lose all your teeth and lose your bladder control", WOULD YOU DARE TO TRY IT?? Of course NOT!! Unfortunately for Rogaine, NOBODY ever tells about the big cost and side effects for slightly using or TRYING the product. And I am one of the victims.I am in my 40s and have had thinning hair. I do not have big spots of baldness but was just concerned about going bald in a few years. My mistake for trying Rogaine without reading reviews on forums on the web. I was blinded by the majority good reviews on Amazon and apparently those were biased reviews. I was fully aware that I would have to use Rogaine forever, and if I quit later "hair would go back to where it was before you used, probably thinner because of what you would have shed anyways in those years" - false claims.I used Rogaine for 4 weeks and had no problem at all. On the 5th week, all of a sudden my hair started to fall!!! I shed alot during wash and also during the day. And yes I was aware a shedding phase was normal, but it was too stressful so in the next 2-3 days I decided to quit. I thought it was only a month use how harmful could that be? Stopping should stop all the side effects, correct? And then after I stopped, the shed continued and continued. NOT just the hair that I used Rogaine on (at the crown) fell off, all other hair also fell off!!So apparently stopping DID NOT stop the side effect!! I'm not talking about using it for a few years and my hair is totally dependent on it, I mean I used it for a few weeks!!! Now I am so heart broken and I cry everyday. I'm so mad at every false claim that the manufacturer and other people say about the product!! I'm sure it would work on people who keep on using till the end of their lives, but WHY is it so TOXIC and DANGEROUS and caused so much adverse effect on people who ONLY USED IT FOR 1 MONTH???**CLAIM** - "after you quit hair grown by Rogaine would fall off and back to where you started" - FALSE!! I quit at the 1st shedding phase, NO hair was ever grown, but hair still falls off, even the part where no Rogaine was used!**CLAIM** "Then maybe Rogaine is still in effect and hair is still in shedding phase" - but come on, I quit 3 weeks ago and if Rogaine is still in effect, then I would say it's like a highly addictive heroin drug. With that much hair loss for only 1 month use, it's TOO dangerous for any ordinary people to even try without doctor's prescription.**CLAIM** "You shouldn't have quit and keep on using you will see results" So this is a 1 way route and I'm punished for quitting. So there's no regretting allowed even BEFORE any hair is grown. To me, the cost is too much. The most important thing is - I ONLY USED 1 MONTH, not even had 1 hair grown by Rogaine, but still I have to suffer massive hair loss - whether it's a forever thing or a few months which I still don't know - it's still a huge cost for test driving a product. If I was told I would lose this much hair in any case over 1 month use (NOT losing only the hair grown by Rogaine as claimed), I would not have started.Rogaine is supposed to stimulate growth, now with hair falling off without any stimulation, will the fallen hair grow back??? When is my hair going to stop shedding??? If I'm allowed to give minus points I would rate -100000000000!!! People think I'm exaggerated, but if anyone not caring about their hair - they would not be shopping for Rogaine nor reading this page at all. Buyers beware, I sincerely hope my shedding would stop in the near future and then no one would ever fall into this horrible trap.
