Laza Zcell 3800mah Extended Battery T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy SII S2 t989 Tmobile (DOES NOT FIT OTHER GALAXY S2 MODELS, ONLY T-MOBILE)

I bought this battery for the extended life it would offer in a Samsung galaxy S2 smart phone. Although the phone is only used for a few texts and calls each day, I can go 2 days or more without charging - seems like under heavy use it would last quite a bit longer than one day, Friends with regular batteries sometimes have to re-charge the same phone before one day of use is done. The only downside and I was really surprised no one - not even Laza - has addressed is that they provide the new thicker back cover for the phone but for the S2 they offer no cases or covers that will fit the thicker phone and none can be found anywhere.This phone is used by my wife so she ended up having to get a new small carry all purse/wallet with a thin shoulder strap to carry the phone and her wallet items. Cases are offered for the S4 but none for the S2 - that was very discouraging and I cannot imagine why they pass on that extra business and don;t provide any protective cases for the S2 with the Laza extended battery and case. - for that reason I give this product a 4 instead of a 5. It cost us a lot of time and searching to come up with a protective case and carrying solution.

I'm as pleased as I can imagine being with a cell phone battery. After years of daily recharging and, often enough running out of "juice" before day's end, it is really nice to go for relatively prolonged periods of not being nervous about my phone dying inconveniently. I'm not a heavy user of my cell phone and usually get 2 days (or more) out of a charge. With heavy use, the battery still lasts well into the 2nd day.The battery and back that came together both fit well enough. One issue is that the back is very difficult to remove (compared to the original Samsung back). But that's preferable to having it be too easy to remove.Prior to installing the Laza battery and back, I used a super-protective "Otterbox" like case. Then went with a simple silicone back cover which proved to be adequate protection. Not being able to use such a cover was a rather strong concern as I considered buying the Laza battery / back. However, it seems that the new configuration (with the Laza battery and back) gives my phone a certain "heft" that lets me pick it up and hold it without the same concerns for dropping it as was the case previously. So, if the change to the Laza products isn't "magical", it has certainly been most satisfactory. Good job, Laza! And thanks to other Amazon reviewers who pointed out the benefits of this product. You helped me make a very good choice.

I love my Samsung Galaxy SII, but the battery life is poor. I rarely make calls, but do use various applications and check emails and Facebook a lot during the day. I also play the music while using an app that tracks my exercise. It gets a lot more use than my previous not so smart phones, but poor battery life is the price I paid. The low battery alarm would go off by dinnertime and I would have to put it in the charger before I was ready to retire each night.The replacement battery goes 2 full days without needing a charge. That is much better, and I don't have to worry about the battery dyeing before the end of one day any more.The only issue is that I can only find one protective wrap that will fit around the larger extended battery case and reviews of that are not so great. I miss being able to add one of the case protectors I was able to use with the standard battery. I'll just have to be more careful!

Over the years I have purchased so called extended Li-ion batteries that costed $60.00 to $70.00 each only to be rewarded with lackluster nonperformance with in a short time of ownership.This includes my use in the service field of the 18v Li-ion Commercial drill / hammer units.I asked myself for a long long time How could this be that after markets Li-ion makers used low quality charging cells?Upon receiving my lazawireless battery it had specific instructions on the first and second use. Charge all the way up and allow to completely discharge. Do it again and your battery will be primed properly. I have never read or heard of the discharging part before. The difference has been nothing short of amazing.Completely happy with the performance. Nice not to have to have three extended batteries to carry around. Good job lazawireless!!

Now the product: i haves to say that the battery is awesome. When i recieved it it had a little over have a charge. I recieved it around 6:30pm took me 4hr or so so drain it down to about 20% just so i can charge it. Because when i tried to charge when i first recieved it, it wouldn't allow me too. I charged over night and unpluged around 730am. On purpose iused it more then usual , Facebook, streaming music with blue tooth headset, checking mail and talked on phone. At 9:30pm i still had 20% charge left. Got on hangout video and finally around 10pm had to put on charger with only 2% chatge. Will definitely order again and recommend to othrs.

So, so glad I found this. Unlike most, my phone does not recharge, so when the battery runs out, I must change batteries. ...and I use phone a lot! for data. With this battery I can go a whole day usually until the next charge (as opposed to running through 3+ regular batteries in a day). Very easy to recharge with a little Anker recharger. OH, and the back fits snugly too - no problem with repeated remove and replace. You do pay for this extra time via some extra weight... not much, but I have switched to a regular battery if weight in the pocket is an issue - say with a lightweight top/dress.
