Egg Topper Cracker for Soft Boiled Eggs, for Clean and Precise Cutting

I purchased this tool to make it very easy to neatly cut and remove the top part of the shell on my soft boiled eggs. It works perfectly! When the seller realized the tool did not include user instructions, he notified us directly and provided the instructions in a downloadable PDF. We received the instructions before we received the tool, so we were able to use the tool immediately upon receipt. This was a very positive experience for us, all around!

Loved this egg topper so much that after buying one for my home in NM, I bought another one to take with us to Italy. It is simple to operate and works every time. As with all egg toppers you have to use a thin knife to make a perfect cut across the top but this one makes the perfect cut in the shell so you have the right amount of top and the right amount of bottom. I was skeptical but tried it and fell in love.

Wasn’t quite as sharp as my last one and took a couple of snaps to get egg top off but perfectly good product that did its job.

I'm very pleased with the egg topper and with the online instructions you provided. Age-related arthritis in my hands had made it almost impossible to crack open a soft-boiled egg without making a mess, but even my clumsy hands can use the egg topper quite easily. Also because of my age (I'll be 80 the month after next) it's often hard for me to understand instructions, but your online graphic step-by-step illustration made learning how to use the egg topper quite simple as well. Thank you for improving the quality of this old lady's life!

Have long been a fan of soft-boiled eggs and have created 2 generations of subsequent fans! Don't know how I've gone all these years without this product! For years have cut the top of the egg off with a serrated knife with mixed results...this thing is the bomb! Just pull-up the plunger and whack the top of the egg...cracks and scores the shell at the top perfectly! Love this product...only suggestion to supplier is that you include instructions as to how to use it for us newbies...had to YouTube it to find out how to use it.

This item was easy to use. However it only lasted for about 50 uses!

Wow worth every penny. This was a great investment glad it works. The first time I did it a little too hard. It really works.🤓

Had to learn to not pull up 100% and then let go. 90% worked better, but not always. Fails to fully cut shell all the way around 1 out of 3 times or 33% of the time. Just have a small parring knife on hand. Other than that, for the price, love it. If the shaft was of a tighter fit design in the tube; cutting would be more uniform. Also if the top was adjustable with a pull height stop inside the unit , itwould be magnificent...

Works ok but unless I am using it wrong it doesn't do as clean a cut as pictured in the add. I often get a ring of small broken shells that I have to remove before eating or risk eating shells. Over all though it is better then using a knife instead and I am happy with the purchase.

Takes a little bit of practice but fun to use and makes a clean cut instead of having bits of shell left over which happens when you wack it with a knife.

Practice makes perfect - almost. Does not work well on small or medium eggs. Bigger is better. A nice novelty item. And it does eliminate shards of shell in your egg. Haven't tried it on raw eggs yet.

Well, start by only going half way. I went all the way to the top and the egg was destroyed.
