Reason to purchase: I couldn't watch my son's first ice skating lesson, he fall badly on his bottom and back as first time ice skater. He is fine, but mum not. So I got this, my husband was laughing when the goods arrive, but, after second lesson, at least three mums come up to us and ask where to buy it?!Result: It looks strange when you wear it, but it amazingly effective. It's got velcro to adjust to different size on both leg and waist, very easy to wear. great product, I can now watch his lesson again.

Item was a bit bulky but as it was used for protection during ice skating wasn't really an issue, just would have been better being a little thinner as would have preferred going under leggings or similar, it was well tested out and worked perfectly as she fell a few times and no Mark's compared to the bruises she got the week before.

My kids do inline skating. The shorts protected them many times!
