I gave it 5 stars because it works and it’s still available. I have 5 of these faucets in my house and have replaced them before. I usually just pull the cartridge, go to my local Home Depot and buy one and replace it. This time I couldn’t find it at Home Depot, then Ace Hardware, and finally Lowe’s... Geez! Props to the guy at Lowe’s because he took a few minutes out to find mine in the catalog (near the stocked ones) even though he knew he wasn’t going to get a sale. In the aisle at Lowe’s I was able to find on Amazon and place the order. I just installed it today and worked perfect, drippy facet fixed!I just order one each of the cold and hot to keep as a spare for the next one that starts leaking.

My Price Pfister kitchen faucet is nearly 28 years old. I have long since lost the original paperwork, so I had to eyeball the correct cartridges from their pictures and descriptions. Hot and cold are different cartridges. (Thank goodness for the internet). OEM parts were $$$ Expensive, and not readily available, so I took a chance on these DANCO replacements. As Good, or Better than the originals!!! Thank you DANCO!

unit was as sold, a replacement for the original unit. Dropped right in with no issues.

It worked

Had to replace both my hot and cold water faucet cartridges as from wear the older version developed a slight leak. Tore sink apart and took cartridges to hardware store/ and home Depot to find a replacement. Neither had one. Luckily I poked around online and found it here.

Perfect fit. Works perfectly. The only suggestion I have is to put a little plumbers grease on the O ring before installation.

Excellent Danco replacement for Price/Pfister stem, in a 7G size which is not commonly available in the big box stores.

Valve stem is reverse threaded. Valve opens in clockwise direction, opposite direction of OEM, Price Pfister, stem.
