Is this product made in the United States?

From a response from the Scrub Daddy Team in comments: Dear Mr. Noel,We'd also like you to know that our manufacturing is done in Germany. Our foam has always been manufactured in Germany. The foam has remained the same. The only difference is that the cutting is now done in Germany as well.Germany is a trade partner with the United States and we've carefully made the decision to deal with them. We would not manufacture in a country such as China just for the sole reason of cutting our costs. The company we work with has several factories in the United States, the largest of them being in Tennessee. The raw material, made in Germany, is exclusive to Scrub Daddy, Inc. As we have grown, we have not been able to keep up with the demand and now some of the fabrication is done there too. Meanwhile, we have been gearing up our processes and capacity in the USA. We do 100% of all the packaging (which is made in the USA) here and now employ 30 new American workers and growing.With all the Scrub Daddys being sold, we support jobs in the stores where we have our product sold: Shop-Rite, Bed Bath & Beyond and Wal-Mart, to name a few.We hope you will reconsider your stance on this and continue to use Scrub Daddy.

I was told the mouth is used to clean spoons, are the eyes used for anything special?

The mouth can be used to clean spoons or anything else that a two sided cleaning sponge that you could slide the item to be cleaned into would be beneficial. Serving spoons, forks, ice cream scoops, and I'm sure there are many other non-kitchen ideas for cleaning that would work as well.   As far as the eyes go- again, anything goes- if it fits, if it helps clean in small places, go ahead and use it.  One of the prime examples they use when demonstrating the eyes is sticking your fingers in the eye holes so you can use the scrub to get down to the bottom inside vases or large glassware that you always have so much difficulty getting the bottoms and around the bottoms on the inside clean-- by putting your fingers in the eyes the sponge will stick to the bottom and the edges and you don't have where your hand has to hold the sponge to contend with- leaving dirt and streaks. how long does it last?

I found that they do not last as long as they used to.....begin falling apart in just a few weeks, a noticeable difference.

Can Scrub Daddy be used on painted walls?

Accepted Answer

I've used it on invisible hard water stains in the wall under my hand towels using power paste. No harm done and marks were gone,  as confirmed by a blacklight flashlight, which shows everything.
