Great for my hound in the harsh Illinois winter!
This snood does a great job keeping my basset hound's ears from freezing when we go on walks in the winter. Like most bassets, he tends to dip his ears in his water bowl, and since we recently moved from the south to Illinois, I was looking for something to help protect his ears when they were damp and dry from the negative temperatures. This helps so much! He doesn't love putting it on, but he's figured out that doing so means he gets a walk, so he tolerates it. And because he's older and had huge, somewhat thin ears, I feel better knowing he's a little more protected. I also have been using it when now that the snow is melting to help keep his ears from dragging in the slush, and it's been great for that, too.The size chart seemed accurate for us, and I rarely need to use the little adjustable cord bits. That being said, if he rolls around or shakes his head enough, he can get it off his head and around his neck. Still, that's only happened once on a walk and it doesn't do that if I tighten it.Overall, a great, simple product that works well!

I got the Pink XXL for my 115lb Rottweiler. It has been in the single digits here so I wanted to make sure that she was cozy on our walks. It fits great without having to cinch the ties at all and she even kept it on the whole walk so that it a plus! Ignore her face, she really loves it, lol!

Great for use after ear surgery
The snood stays in place well because it has adjustable draw strings on the front and back. I used it on my dog after he had ear surgery to prevent him from scratching his ear or flapping his ears by shaking his head. Worked great!

Kind of hilarious!
This product is great for our Weimaraner. She doesn’t do well in the cold so this helps keep her ears nice and warm! It has two bungee type elastics at both ends but that’s really the only stretch this product has.
