Modelcraft PTW1135 Double Ended Pick Up Tool with Silicone Tips, Black, 200mm

Thanks to all who responded to my question as I am a papercrafter. I used this today to apply tiny pieces of card to a project and this pick up tool worked a treat. I see there are comments as to it losing its stickiness. - well I suppose time will tell on that, but for first use excellent. I could pick up the small pieces add the glue and attach to the project. Don’t just focus on model makers there are other crafters out there!

This is a nice addition to my modelling toolkit. However, I do find the tips lose their 'tack' quite quickly and need regular cleaning - but cleaning with what? Water does a kind of OK job, rolling them on a bit of half-tack sellotape also seems to help. Keep it clean and dust free. Despite all of this, I couldn't be without it now for tiny photo-etched parts. Invaluable.

Only managed 3 -4 small item pick ups with this then the stickiness went, so for me personally this is a waste of money.

A very useful little tool. Picking up and placing of fiddly little kit parts is a breeze with this. Haven't had it for very long, so can't comment on how it will last. I'd recommend it.

Had this for a little while and it's lost its stickiness and no use, I've tried washing it etc but no joy it's a shame as the first couple of times I used it it was great

This pick up tool is fine but not quite as sticky as I wanted. It does the job reasonably well.

This tool was purchased for photo etching on models. It worked for a short while but I wasn't able to get the tackeiness back onto the tips. You would bo better to purchase a wax pencil

Ich bin schwer angetan von dem kleinen Stick; ich frage mich wie ich im Modellbau grade bei der Montage von Ätzteilen so lange "ohne" auskommen konnte. Das aufnehmen der Teile gelingt super, das positionieren und festhalten der Teile ebenfalls. Logisch, das man natürlich keinen Sekundenkleber auf die kleinen Silikonspitzen kommen lassen darf. Nach der Arbeit die transparenten Schutzkappen wieder drauf, ggf, etwas abwischen - fertig für den nächsten Einsatz. Der Stift liegt gut in der Hand und rutscht nicht. Ein tolles Werkzeug für den Modellbauer.Fazit: würde ich sofort wieder kaufen, wenn ich ihn kaputt bekomme. ;)

Oggetto perfetto per un appassionato di modellismo come me. Utilissimo per maneggiare e montare pezzi molto piccoli
